“re-build” the production planning. Replace bespoke factory planning tool based on custom ABAPs + access + XLS..

  • Collect requirements from all involved parties (prod.planer, head of production, foreman, fitter, quality, warehouse logistics)
    • Identify members of the team
    • Plan, organise and run workshops
    • Collect requirements
    • Ensure requirement sign off
  • Specify the planning processes and solution requirements
  • Guide solution selection and specify the solution for the software provider
  • Lead the solution provider to develop and implement required extensions.
  • Test solution, prepare business test and ensure sign off
  • Ensure solution suitable for all 6 production lines
