  • Together with two other co-founders, we successfully applied for the EXIST government funding with a revolutionary idea for the music tech space
  • Düring this funding, we managed to develop a hardware product to maturity, tested it with many users and gained a following from relevant figures from the scene as our early-adopters. We were confident and very close to publishing our crowdfunding campaign with a very solid final DFM product iteration, a tested supply chain and partners in place, but unfortunately had to stop the release in the end because of hard disagreements between the founders
  • As the CTO, I was responsible for all engineering tasks and managed to execute on a Vision to a finished product
  •  I could learn a lot in this endeavor and I could prove again, how my skill set is perfectly sufficient for delivering at every step along the development cycle. Since there are still some things not completely settled and some legal processes ongoing, I have to spare further details here

  • In a cross-functional agile hardware team, we worked on various research and product development projects. We achieved fast cycles through close collaboration to Mechanical Engineering and Design disciplines in short communication loops following an iterative approach. A notable achievement here was the wholistic upbringing of the ?Haptic Drive Jog Wheel" in the flagship product ?Traktor Kontrol S4mk3". I invented and developed this novel technology from day 0 through mass production into a successful product release
  • Topics: prototyping, closed loop control system design, DSP, Device architecture specification, flrmware development, PCB schematic design, USB interfacing, component sourcing (MCUs, displays, audio codecs, drivers, motors), factory test setups. I was also responsible for related intellectual property topics and the successful patenting for my invention. Eventually, I joined a software team full time to integrate the technology in the DJ application portfolio (Traktor Pro).
