  • Start and conduct worldwide workshops for Customer Master Data Migration from ECC System to S4 Business Partner.
  • Decide and explain which fields will move to which field within Business Partner function. 
  • Main work was to determine with Business User Worldwide the mapping rules per Customer Master Data field, start cleansing activities and upfront Customer Master Data changes for a proper migration. 
  • In addition, we had the alignment with the Pricing and O2C Team to ensure that as well their requirements are taken into consideration. 
  • My workload was mainly the coordination and the conduction of the workshops as well to align with the Technical Team from the S4 side integrity with the already running S4 system. 
  • No Business process on the running S4 System should be touched and disturbed.

Manage upcoming Changes for a Worldwide Operating company in the Animal Health Environment. Coordination and managing external Service provider for planning, development, testing and implementation 

  • Prepare OTC area for S4 transformation.
  • The role as Global IT Business Partner for O2C was determined to advise and assist the Global Process Owner and the Process Manager in all their functions with the background of the existing SAP ERP System. The challenge was to ensure for 3 years a working ERP system as the customer was planned to be rolled in into an S4 by 2023. My working packages and responsibilities are as follows: 
    • Assist and advise the Global process owner and the Process Manager for O2C in daily and weekly alignment meetings.
    • Explain risk and clarify evidence of upcoming changes or requirements to Stakeholder.
    • Manage the Service Provider Team to ensure that upcoming changes or Incidents are solved in the calculated and proper time. Weekly meetings are held with the Service provider.
    • Calculate together with the Technical Team from the Service provider new requirements and align with Stakeholder the financial aspect.
    • Organise in Online Meetings the approval of Business requested Master Data Changes with Business and Technical Teams. Important as the customer is part of the Animal Health branch was, to ensure all GxP and SoX regulations. That means a proper documentation and approval process must be followed.
    • Start process and Data cleansing activities with Business to ensure that the S4 Migration will work without big issues. This contains Customer master data, as well open Sales orders, and deliveries. The workshops are held round the Globe via Microsoft TEAMS
    • Responsible for the Ramp-Down, of all O2C relevant Interfaces to external Partner, like Order Platforms or EDI Connections. Coordinate with the Customer and the Technical Teams when which Interface will be cut of and take into consideration the Global usage and different Time zones.

  • Planning and ensuring test planning for the 'Deliver' workstream.
  • Monitoring of test execution

  • Defect management and problem solving
  • My role in the Integration project of two global player in the Chemical industry, was to plan, document and report the Testing results for the workstream ?Deliver?. I aligned during the workshops with the Business owner what Testcases for functional tests needs to be conducted, what pre-requisites are necessary and who can do the testing for the Variants. 
  • In addition, planning, checking the work progress and the documentation and reporting for all the E2E Testcases from my Workstream, was part of my daily work. Here we had as well a close alignment with all other Test Managers from other Streams. 
  • The Regression Testing and Documentation of this Phase was as well in my area of responsibility. 
  • All results are summarized and documented in the Defect management tool, where the Test Managers task was, to track the Re-Testing and new Execution after development or master data have been changed. 
  • As this was a Global Project, the coordination was around the Globe for various Countries, which needs to be organised by the Test Manager together with the Business Test Coordinator in close collaboration.

  • The customer was an Internet Furniture Seller in Berlin, who wants to finetune the Return process while using the ARM functionalities. My project role was to advise in several workshops the internal Team with guidance and check the possibilities with the ARM function. 
  • We development a high-level concept which was presented to the Board and the Management Team. Unfortunately, the decision was made, not to start the update project for the finetuning (Budget Issues) and therefore I left the project after 6 months.

The Fit-Gap workshops are planned and conducted by me together with the internal and external Team as well in alignment with the Business Stakeholder. After the alignment, the documentation in the SOLMAN was created from my team. 
  • First shoulder views and Business Presentation were held with the brought audience of Stakeholders and Board of Management. The preparation and moderation were one of my main working packages during this project period. 
  • After Demo and Alignment phase next step was to determine, which additional developments are necessary and could not be solved by Standard Customizing. My Team and I worked on the translation of the Business requirements into Development requirements and discussed this with the development Team.
