Tasks:

Focus on aligning product strategy and delivery for finfire's checkout journeys and investment advisory technology, with an emphasis on high-scale initiatives. Manage and execute Netfonds finfire product vision to develop best-in-class financial advisor capabilities.

  • Lead the Product Delivery Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle processes, managing product roadmaps, requirements, specifications, and release documentation.
  • Act as a key resource for internal teams and external clients (private bankers, IFAs), providing guidance on platform capabilities to meet their business needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry, market, and technology trends to identify opportunities and enhance offerings on the Netfonds finfire platform.
  • Utilize a metrics-driven approach to track product usage and gather feedback, continuously refining the product strategy based on data insights.


finfire Platform Vision and Foundational Development

  • Establish a clear vision for the platform, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives from the outset.
  • Developed the initial vision and created foundational wireframes using established UX patterns to solve common interface challenges in the investment sphere and enhance usability.
  • Engaged with stakeholders and users to communicate the vision, gather feedback, and collaboratively shape the product direction.


Outcome:

  • Achieved rapid platform adoption, with over 5,000 independent financial advisors (IFAs) and 300,000 private investors actively using the platform.
  • The platform now manages over ?26 billion in assets under administration, reflecting a significant market impact and operational scalability


Development of Investment Advisor Technology for German Private Investors

  • Develop a compliant investment advisory technology tailored for independent financial advisors (IFAs) and private bankers to serve German private investors.
  • Led the creation and implementation of a regulatory-compliant, yet streamlined advisory process. Integrated the platform with 12 different custodian banks to ensure a seamless and compliant experience for both advisors and investors. (ESMA, MiFID II)


Outcome:

  • Achieved strong user adoption due to the lightweight, user-friendly design.
  • The solution ensured full legal compliance while providing a scalable, efficient platform for investment advisory across multiple financial institutions.
