The Co-Warehousing-Project: Conception, implementation and testing of an IT-supported CoWarehousing platform including a business model for shared, small-scale, and short-term warehouse use. So-called Co-Warehousing represents an equivalent approach to shared housing (airbnb) in logistics and provides a better balance between utilization and overcapacity. Providers could rent out unused storage space on a small scale and at short notice to corresponding demanders via the platform and thus increase their added value. The platform will use machine learning approaches to automatically match supply and demand. The platform will also support the various parties in contract design and usage-based billing as well as distributed inventory management.

Logistics network design and management of a communication network of 15.000 links (48 Project member, 15 suppliers in several states of Europe and 60 logistic service provider) respective technical, organizational, and economic planning as well as the operation. updating transport specifications and drawings, target process description and the target/actual comparison in the operation, an ongoing risk assessment, the market inquiry, contacting and checking the service providers, authorities, customs, insurance, etc. Associated with this is the continuous updating of the logistics budget and the "maintenance" of the complete logistics schedule in the project plan.
