Participated in on-call rotation and provide off hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.

Performed multiple OS/DB migrations and accommodated the move of SAP applications across data centers. Enhancement Packages of the SAP software got upgraded once the SAP applications were migrated to the new hardware platform.

I was involved in the transition of service delivery/ SAP Basis related services/ work packages from an incumbent service provider to Infosys Ltd. The scope of the transition was to take over more than 300 SAP systems. We launched the new service delivery support center for the BMW group based on the new offshore supporting model from India. As such, I was involved in setting up the processes, which allowed us to go for operational support of the SAP landscape. In my role as lead SAP Solution Manager, I was responsible for the delivery of services around SAP Solution Manager (supporting various implementation projects at BMW via Solution Manager Setup, Managed System Setup, configuration of CHARM, configuration of EWA and the configuration of the Maintenance Optimizer).

Acted as a SME SAP PI and SME SAP Basis on behalf of the Nestle Globe project. In my role as SME SAP PI, I sustained a high-volume SAP PI messaging landscape where I implemented a release upgrade covering multiple (+300) distributed decentralized adapter engines (XLINK). In my role as SME SAP NW Basis, I acted on HADR for DB2, AIX HACMP and Tivoli Data Protection solutions. Here, I was involved in a global roll out of SPs (where implementation of SPs involved various SAP modules, that is, ABAP, single j2ee as well as dual stack SAP applications). Other activities included the implementation of EHPs, HR CLCs and system refreshes.

I coordinated the replication of messaging between SAP and legacy applications as defined in a BAU landscape to a dedicated hardware environment for testing. The replication allowed us to go for system integration testing and user acceptance testing in a separated environment, that is, prior to the implementation of enhancement packages in the production landscape. Involved in the export and import of content (and retrofit) of +200 interfaces. Involved in the adjustment of the routing upon import of scenarios in the test environment. Involved in operational support during test cycles, so, here, mainly involved in fixing connectivity and routing issues (such as certificates/ encryption). Apart from interfacing through ALE/ IDOCs, all regular SAP PI adapter types were being used and some specific ones (Swift + SFTP + WSRM). IBM as hosting partner.

Activities were related to SAP PI, SAP CRM and SAP technology. Dutch Railways has a complex system landscape when considering the integration between various legacy applications. Processes and functionalities are in the field of consumer to business and products being delivered are related to E-ticketing. I was requested to put in place a team, processes and organization allowing Dutch Railways to operate the SAP landscape, that is, focus was on operational readiness.
