I am acting as a SAP Release Manager at EG Group (fixed-term contract). This role includes managing the deployment of changes in a SAP RISE Private Cloud environment and in SAP landscapes that have their (global) footprint on-premises of EG Group. Customer has asked me to set up Cloud ALM to enable change and deployment management in future mode of operation. This would allow us to orchestrate change and release management centrally in a hybrid environment (S/4 HANA on-premises + S/4 HANA in SAP RISE Private Cloud environment + Cloud Integration Suite as part of SAP BTP). As a solution architect, I am on top of describing the solution design for SAP Cloud ALM. This will undergo a proof of concept soon. The current setup still uses SAP Solution Manager 7.2 for Focused Build and CHARM. This will remain live for some time.
