OBJECTIVE

• Conception and realization of infrastructures. And their operation as well. Preferably based on open source. I have many years of experience about CI and CD pipelines. Automation and IaC with Puppet and or Ansible and GIT. Migration projects from Puppet to Ansible. Virtualization with XEN, KVM, Hyper-V. Well-founded Knowledge of OpenStack and its ecosystem. Provision of OnPrem or Hybrid Clouds with OpenStack. Knowledge of CEPH and ZFS as storage
• Excellent knowledge about the operating systems GNU Linux and BSD with the distributions Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, Debian and FreeBSD.
• I have got experience with GNU/Linux and BSD since 1999. I also work as a IT-Trainer and occasionally lead small teams in a project.
• Very good knowledge about Icinga2 for monitoring envronments. Including integration and combination with other monitoring tools. Such like as ELK / Tick Stack for performance measurement and smart troubleshooting.
• I have programming skills in the shell and occasionally I?m using Python.
