Global SAP VCM Program (Value Chain Management) translates and implements Bombardier standardized business processes along the Value Chain in a powerful, integrated, state of the art SAP environment.

The Global SAP VCM Template contains globally standardized and harmonized core business processes of Finance & Controlling, Engineering, Supply Chain, Services and Operations including the integration to other systems from Suppliers to Customers

For SAP VCM Program Infosys was selected as the deployment partner for rolling out the SAP VCM solution to Bombardier’s sites by using Global Delivery Model (GDM) approach with Onsite/Offshore components. The GDM concept utilizes the VCM Deployment Factory to deliver the projects using the industrialized and standardized deployment approach for VCM rollouts.

 

I was part of the central deployment team of VCM Program based in Berlin (Germany). In addition, I executed following engagements in the VCM Program:

Global SAP Vega Program – arises as the result of the separation of the Rio Tinto Alcan Composites business unit, Alcan EP needs to be divested as a new company and incorporated partially into the OMEGA Standard system on the SAP ECC 6.0

 

The Program road map includes the following locations around the globe: Sierre (Switzerland); Ravenswood (USA); Singen (Germany); Rhenalu, Neuf Brisach; Issoire (France) with different project timelines. The scope includes Finance, Controlling; Procurement; Sales Administration, HR; SAP PI (XI); BW and MDM. For this Program, Infosys was selected as strategic implementation partner by using the Global Delivery Model with Onsite/Offshore components.

Global SAP VCM Program (Value Chain Management) translates and implements Bombardier standardized business processes along the Value Chain in a powerful, integrated, state of the art SAP environment.

The Global SAP VCM Template contains globally standardized and harmonized core business processes of Finance & Controlling, Engineering, Supply Chain, Services and Operations including the integration to other systems from Suppliers to Customers

For SAP VCM Program Infosys was selected as the deployment partner for rolling out the SAP VCM solution to Bombardier’s sites by using Global Delivery Model (GDM) approach with Onsite/Offshore components. The GDM concept utilizes the VCM Deployment Factory to deliver the projects using the industrialized and standardized deployment approach for VCM rollouts.

Global SAP Vega Program – arises as the result of the separation of the Rio Tinto Alcan Composites business unit, Alcan EP needs to be divested as a new company and incorporated partially into the OMEGA Standard system on the SAP ECC 6.0

 

The Program road map includes the following locations around the globe: Sierre (Switzerland); Ravenswood (USA); Singen (Germany); Rhenalu, Neuf Brisach; Issoire (France) with different project timelines. The scope includes Finance, Controlling; Procurement; Sales Administration, HR; SAP PI (XI); BW and MDM. For this Program, Infosys was selected as strategic implementation partner by using the Global Delivery Model with Onsite/Offshore components.
