For the BMS project of the Directorate General Justice, Freedom and Security I designed the Database architecture for a high available (99.99%) RAC-RAC setup using Oracle Data Guard. I worked in an infrastructure team with which we provided a complex infrastructure also for the Oracle Application Server for the fingerprint matching environments.
I carried out a large variety of tasks to ensure that the system could go into production (focus on the Oracle DB, Oracle AS, Oracle Enterprise Manager).
Created the Backup & Recovery architecture for the SAN.

For a Siebel implementation I was responsible for the architecture of an Oracle RAC environment. The RAC environment was based on Windows in a three node cluster. Created an internal DBA bootcamp and ensured with knowledge transfer of Fusion Middleware that the Oracle unit is capable of delivering top performance in projects. I also participated in several high profile RFP?s. Have a role as ?Flying doctor? within Accenture and participated in some 40 projects, most of them focusing around the SOA Suite and Identity Management.

Working in the Oracle unit of Inter Access. Main focus areas are again the Oracle Application Server, SOA Suite, Collaboration Suite, and Security. Highlights so far are 10g AS Identity Management projects, a large security engagement for a financial fraud case management system, and the architecture for a mobile application based on the Oracle Mobile Server and Oracle Lite.

With CMG I worked as a consultant in various projects in the financial world. The aspects of network architecture and software development were the main areas of interest. For example the migration of network infrastructures for large Dutch banks as a lead project manager, were part of these tasks. Also the configuration of mail servers for the CMG intranet and working on various network issues in this area formed a major part of my work.
