Project manager on behalf of the Millennium Challenge Cooperation - Washington in the context of a large-scale project at the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The project is a fundamental prerequisite for budget allocation and capital equipment for ECG of US$400mill and has the following tasks.
Expert guidance and control of the international teams of consultants for all costs incurred in the project activities.
- Professional and technical optimization of business processes, as well as the remodeling processes in BPMN under ERP aspects;
- Definition of professionally-content requirements for the implementation of a fully integrated ERP system for the fully integrated picture of the value chain;
- Evaluation of the structure and organization, as well as examination of the technical and procedural requirements for the design of new business processes for a new ERP and HCM system
- Analysis of the existing IT architecture and interfaces to external software used for the areas of maintenance, new projects and construction projects, materials management as well as project implementation along the entire value-added chain.
- Creating test environments, test concept, test data for functional acceptance
- Preparation of the migration concept for the districts
- Creation of training documents and application aids
- Tendering and selection of a suitable ERP system for requirements
- Tendering and selection of an implementation partner for selected ERP system
- Monitoring of the country-wide ERP system implementation in 80 districts, 16 regions and in the group's headquarters and outstations.
