Managed a high strategic value collaboration between Merck and a Spanish company, ensuring partnership priorities in the EMEA region are well executed. The responsibilities usually cover (i) Launch of a new partnership(ii) Contract Management- managing contractual obligations and negotiating with the partner and (iii) Progress Monitoring.

  • Established alliance management tools (KPIs, leading alliance health check, governance models) for 24 high strategic value research collaborations with focus in oncology, immune-oncology therapeutic, GM&E areas. This has resulted in Merck as an award finalist in implementing innovative best practice for alliance management at ASAP 2019.
  • Responsible for training and managing CRM and other digital tools designed for alliance management.
  • Organized and led multiple 2-day workshops for Program Leaders, Project managers from Merck and external stakeholders from Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly to share best practice and strengthen negotiation and partnering skills.
  • Conducted alliance health check for 102 Merck’s partner company’s including Roche, Pfizer, Novartis, UCL, F-star, Vertex, Morphosys to assess Merck’s performance on governance, operations and alliance management and developed actionable insights and presented to Merck’s executives.
