2018: SIAL Migration
Tasks
I was the program manager for integration of IT Service Desk tool & IT Service Portal of Sigma Aldrich & Merck KGaA. Sigma Aldrich was acquired by Merck in 2013. The program objective was to harmonize the IT Processes and merge the IT Service desk tool on ServiceNow. In this strategic initiative I was leading a cross-functional team of 25 project members spread across 3 time zones.

Worked as a scrum master for digitize and automate team. Prioritizing business requirement as user stories and supporting sprint and release planning of those stories. Also responsible for managing cost and effort by the vendor to deliver the stories

I worked as quality assurance for project team and provided platform support for ServiceNow rollout at Legal business area of Merck. This was a green field deployment where request management, knowledge management, service levels, reporting dashboards and end user portal was designed.

This was a green field deployment where several email integrations, request management, knowledge management, reporting dashboards and end user portal was designed. I was acting as the Delivery Manager responsible for Managed Services for Core & Roaming for Airtel Africa. This was a direct customer facing role managing 8 Ericsson MS operating countries. I was able to streamline the entire service delivery process for Airtel Managed Services, shortened the processes from weeks to minutes and facilitated additional MS business from the same client.
04/2014 ? 01/2015: YU Migration
Location: Kenya ? Africa

I was the lead solution architect for the Airtel-YU Merger project in Kenya, Africa. I was responsible for migration of 4.5 Mn subscribers from YU (Essar) to Airtel Kenya without any disruption to live traffic. I was a part of this project from early sales stage till project closure. I was able to complete the project upto two months ahead of schedule with as much as $1.2M saving. Apart from the above-mentioned projects, I have also undertaken several other projects across India, Africa, Mexico, Russia, Germany and Sri Lanka, for which my work was well recognized with appreciations.
