Project Description:

Lead of PMO during Transition & Transformation

The scope of the PMO included the full financial and resource managements aspects (200+ people in the full T&T project). It included the responsibility for Risk & Issue management across all projects within the program, the identification of governance of cross project dependencies and the management of the contractural deliverables, together with a quality assurance process. One task of the PMO was in addition to monitor individual project progress and create consolidated reporting for the Board meetings with the customer, providing explanation oft he impacts tot he projects in case of issues.

Contribution:

Staffing the PMO team, defining and assigning the processes / tasks tot he team members, establish approriate communication within and outside oft he project. Defining the report flow among all projects and consolidating the input fort he Steering Commitee with the customer. Establishing a deliverable driven project schedule with the reflection of all cross project dependencies. Managing the major PMO processes across all projects, like Risk/Issue Mgmt, Quality Mgmt, Deliverables and Resources/Costs.

Projektdimensionen (Zeit, Kosten und Qualität) im Auge zu behalten, ohne die wichtigen Rahmenbedingungen (organisisatorisch, technisch, regulatorisch / Compliance) aber auch Andererseits den sozialen Aspekt (Projektmitarbeiter und Einbindung Betroffener) nicht zu vernachlässigen. Die Industriesegmente in welchen ich tätig war, waren primär im Bereich Finanzindustrie (Versicherungen und Banken), Luftfahrt sowie Globaler IT-Dienstleiter.


Während der letzten vier Jahre war ich Projekt-Manager bzw. Leiter eines PMO in grossen internationalen Outsourcing Projekten (Transition & Transformation). Mein letztes Projekt war als PM für Service Management und SW Lizenz Management (DC Relocation  Cloud (Versicherung in Hannover) . Davor war ich Leiter des PMOs (Programme Management Office) eines Service-Providers für ein T&T Outsourcing Projektes bei einer Fluggesellschaft in Frankfurt am Main. Der Umfang dieses PMO umfasste über 25 Projekte und über 200 Mitarbeiter in einem internationalen Umfeld.
