Credit Risk Control Data Warehouse International (17 locations world
wide), Model Driven Change Management
Initiated and worked on a project with IT project management
and project sponsor on how the modelling approach could be
used to improve documentation and change management in data
warehouses. This procedure led to Model Driven Change
Management (MDCM). In contrast to other approaches, MDCM
focused on the business decisions and the derived requirements,
rather than implementation specific details. Additionally the
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations had to be respected in the
context of loans.
MDCM has been developed initially for the risk & compliance
data warehouse of UBS Switzerland and is now applied for the
credit risk data warehouse of 17 international UBS locations.
Leveraged the existing tools in order to model not only various
viewpoints on data (business people, implementation, local
views, transaction and analysis of the system's view), but also
the various business decisions and their connections to business
rules, data mappings, and interface definitions.

Profile
As a business analyst, requirements engineer and solution architect in different senior roles with
a subject-related background across Life Sciences, Finance/Banking, Consulting, Logistics &
IT sectors, I prefer to work and coach on projects and programs that are highly demanding in
terms of content and methodology. I focus on integrating my expertise effectively into my clients?
processes and transferring it to their internal teams. In order to make optimal use of my creativity
and analytical skills, I prefer working and coaching in a dynamic, open-minded, international and
highly motivated atmosphere.
Having been involved within both the IT and the business side, I can very well bridge these two
sides of an organization bringing in my skills to work closely with program and project managers.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to analyse and conceptualize for systems development a
number of domains in financial services, including credit risk control, anti-money laundering,
portfolio management, data warehousing, financial product management, as well as other
domains in industry and health care.
In my projects for large and very large internationally renowned organizations such like CreditSuisse, Novartis, Roche, Swiss Re, and UBS I learned that the understanding of the domain is
only of value if it can be integrated into existing processes, terminologies and working cultures.
This experience allows me to deeply understand the business requirements and translate them
into a form that can be implemented by IT.
Having my focus on the business side, I continuously keep up to date on the forefront of technical
hard- and software developments by being actively involved in the conception of software
architectures for very demanding modelling and distributed systems as well occasionally in the
development of (pre-packaged) software applications.
Aside from using advanced methods from computer science and mathematics ? such as
Essential Systems Analysis, formal Information and Data Modelling (E/R), Object Modelling
(UML2), Process Modelling (BPMN)), and Systems Architecting ? I also apply those stemming
from analytical philosophy, systems theory, and complexity theory. I don?t strive for any industry
certificates; I did instead pioneering and highly innovative ground-breaking work in areas such as
rule-based systems, artificial intelligence, model-driven technologies, and requirements
engineering, among others, which allow me to quickly assess opportunities and risks of new
approaches, should they be considered.

Collaboration both in the conception and in the IT specification
for the client output management system, which supplied ? within
a modern service-oriented inter-banking application ? the
complete functionality as formatting the output according to
templates, creating output as XML files, and controlling output
channels. In this context, a service-oriented architecture was also
created within this output system such that the services of the
architecture were made available to the components of the interbanking solution via events
Developed IT Strategy for the Output Management System from
