At Studio NAND I built this fullstack webapplication which visualizes public health data for all of Germany with interactive maps, various data-visualizations and on-the-fly generated csv/pdf/image file exports.
I worked on
At Studio NAND I developed various visualizations and components for the interactive part of this experience. I also was responsible for R&D resulted in a custom explorative data-analysis tool, that was used to orchestrate the live visualizations.
I worked on
At Studio NAND I worked on the Production-Fullstack application, adding new features and creating data visualizations. I also led the complete rewrite of the application architecture, transitioning from class-based to function-based React components, and redesigned the frontend software architecture to enhance reusability for other product spin-offs.
During my studies I focused on user centered interaction design principles applied in data-visualization with web technologies. My B.A. thesis ?Navigation in Semantic Spaces? is about visualization technigues for semantic data outputs from AI similarity algorithms.
I am a Senior Frontend Developer & Interaction Designer with 10+ years of experience. I am specialized in building bespoke interactive web applications that handle complex data flows and satisfy deep technical requirements.
I apply my understanding of technical requirements and critical thinking in user-centered design methods to validate concepts before starting a development life cycle.
My experience spans across multiple languages, tools and environments, which allows me to adapt a wide span of tasks, going from designing in tools like Figma to serverless deployment options like cloudflare. I feel most at home in typical modern frontend setups that rely on TypeScript, reactJS, Tailwind and Vite ? but I am always eager to learn a new futureproof tool, especially when it helps me to get a job done!
