• After the Deutsche Bahn project I went for a vacation and had an accident. It took about three months to heal properly. Since then I have started learning about the derivatives market and automatic trading system. I have so far worked with the Marketcetera open source automatic trading software (www.marketcetera.com). I have tried to implement a demo (mock) connection to the EUREX Exchange using VALUES API version 11.0 and the later version 12.0.
I can use the Monte Carlo Methods for pricing Options and other derivatives. I can write programs to implement the Black-Scholes-Merton’s method of option pricing. I have implemented CRR binomial tree functions in Excel using VBA to price American and European Options. I have worked with Boost and QuantLib libraries to implement various option pricing models in C++ programs.
I have started preparing for the CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) level 1 exam and the certified EUREX Trader exam.
Deutsche Bahn/Oracle - Phase II (Oct 2007 - Nov 2008)
• Created Reports and delivered complex SQLs to the report management team.
• Supported the CRM Production System management team by debugging various software glitches, giving best practice recommendations and performance tuning tips.
• Configured Bar Code Fonts in the Oracle XML Publisher to generate letters with Barcodes from the PS Correspondence Management Module and Online Reporting Module.
