IuteCredit is a microfinance company established in Estonia and operating in wider Balkans. My responsibility was to start up Data & Analytics, Customer Management and Financial Management products and to create the respective product teams.

• Within 4 months defined immediate and mid-term goals for the products, selected suitable technology and started up development of them while impacted by the environment situation related to Covid19 outbreak. Products go live in January 2021.
• Leading both local in-house and outsourced as well as remote outsourced development teams in Bulgaria.
• Improved accuracy and clarity of the financial reporting by designing new reports look & feel and creating link between loan product data and accounting data.

Designed and lead implementation of information systems for biotech manufacturing devices company ArtesynBiosolutions. The company was acquired by Repligen in December 2020.

• Designed secure infrastructure environment ensuring high resilience of manufactured devices against virtual and physical threats.
• Integrated both infrastructure and application services to work on Google Suit (now Workplace) identities and authentication.
• Choose application service providers for sales and customer support processes and lead the integration with ArtesynBiosolutions.
• Lead technical architecture and product selection for Financial management and Analytical solutions.

Omniva is Parcel and postal logistics services provider operating in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. My responsibility was both analytics products management and engineering team management of both internal and service provider engineers. Main accomplishments of the team:

• Established near-real-time data warehouse with data renewal cycle under 15 minutes from the logistics system.
• Developed real-time parcel locker availability forecaster and parcel label processor/decoder, both critical for success of the company with elevated volume in 2020.
• Implemented visual analytics solution that delivered instant business knowledge and replaced legacy excel files that needed business analysts for interpretation.

Telia is the leading IT and Telecom service provider in Scandinavia and Baltics. I was responsible for data communication (LAN, WAN, Security) services provided to Telia Estonia business customers

• Introduced customer portfolio review to proactively manage offering to customers with legacy pricing, resulting in no churn of such customers while retaining or increasing revenues.
• Ensured successful market introduction of new products and brought focus from big enterprises to medium-sized customers, resulting in >10% business growth levels YoY (growth <3% on 5 previous years);
• Introduced new technology and marketing partners to enhance product offering and enable quicker products introduction.

Managed special solutions team in Telia technology services unit

• Introduced data communication technical products planning and roadmapping in addition to project-based special services approach.
• Introduced devops setup in the network engineering team, resulting in 4 new product launches during the period without sacrificing service quality (service levels fulfillment remained >99%) and without the need for separate product development team.

Managed application management team in the biggest software development company in Baltics

• Lead implementation of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Rackspace, Rightscale etc) to support Nortal customer technology needs.
• Implemented full-stack (infrastructure to platforms to application functionality to user activities) monitoring solution based on in-house software and SaaS products.
• Worked alongside development projects to ensure their success (customers evaluated highly positive all development projects that incorporated IT operations services ).
• Participated in the success of Estonian National Census in 2012 by leading systems, data and application management of the Census information systems. Lead the team of over 50 persons from 5 IT companies to support Census IT operations.

Responsible for IT processes management and governance

• Started as change management process manager, grew to lead all transition processes (change, release, configuration, requirements engineering and testing), in the end worked as process architect for all IT processes in Swedbank Group IT.
• Created process definition templates and continuous improvement methods.
• Implemented continuous process analysis and improvement in IT.
• Created group outsourcing policy.
