A skilled IT-Architect and solution designer (IBM certified and re-certified at expert level), with deep experience (30+ years) on mainframe infrastructure and integration with distributed systems, designing and optimizing solutions aligned to customer business needs.
Thinking out-of-the-box enables me to suggest innovative solutions, encompassing mainframe and cloud technology. I am a fast learner and open to new technologies.
I am interested in working as IT architect, mainframe architect, mainframe consultant or integration architect in complex projects, involving different technologies.
I have also an interest and deep knowledge in technologies related to the migration of mainframe workloads to cloud.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
- Very thorough knowledge of hardware and software in the mainframe environment (z/os and related technologies) and deep knowledge in integration capabilities. Actual level of knowledge, maintained through continued learning. Cerified IT Architect (recertified two times). Specifically deep, practical knowlege in mainframe networking.

- Knowledge in mainfame modernization solutions, both IBM and ISV. (for example z/OS connect, DVM ? data virtualization for mainframe).
- Knowledge in Amazon Web Services Cloud Technologies, maintained and advanced through learning and participation at AWS events. Knowledge in GCP technologies.
- Deep knowledge of strategy, patterns and technologies for migrating mainframe workloads to different cloud providers (replatforming, rehosting). Knowledge of the solutions by Astadia, Blu Age, Micro Focus, Heirloom, Advanced, Cloudframe, Raincode and integration technology (Kafka / Confluent).
- Experience in integration technologies (SOA, Web services, ESB Bus) Some experience with Solace, Eventstreaming & data pipelines (Streamsets). Theoretical experience with Apache Kafka, knowledge of Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.
- Good communication and presentation skills - I am able to convince listenersat different levels (including C level) about the validity of my proposed solutions.
- Work closely with project managers, architects and system engineers to deliver the requested solution with quality and inside the budget limitations.
