• RoboStreamer is aimed at developers and publishers of video games with sales of games on the Steam platform. The platform allows live streams of games to be displayed, which increase visibility to potential customers. Steam also allows recorded videos to be streamed, which was previously only possible relatively cumbersome with special software and required the continuous operation of one's own PC.
• RoboStreamer allows users to upload their video files and takes care of the entire streaming part - after uploading, you basically just need to click play.
• The project is very popular in the indie games industry and now has almost 2000 users and permanently hosts around 200 streams simultaneously (as of May 2024), even up to 300 parallel streams at peak times.
• Payments are made on a prepaid basis, you buy time in advance. Payments are made via Stripe, after which automatic invoices are generated for users as PDF.
• GenAI was also used here after some time - once to automate the translation of the UI and the page, but also in the form of concrete product features such as an interactive assistant that helps users analyze streaming problems as quickly as possible and helps ensure the correct function of the streams with concrete suggestions. A specialized mix of chatbot and UI interface is used for this.
• Another use case of GenAI is the automatic analysis of incoming chat messages in the streams, whereby on the one hand, those responsible are notified for moderation purposes when so-called trolls or hate comments appear, and on the other hand, simple, recurring questions from viewers in the chat can be answered automatically

• Here, a completely new stock market portal is being developed as part of the T-Online site.
• Data from an external service provider is delivered to a self-developed middleware and from there to a React-based frontend. My activity consists of planning and developing the frontend system (optimal HTML structure, lean and fast delivery for good performance), as well as guiding and supporting the team. Generally, I am involved in all aspects of the project and also participate in the conception of the API as well as configuration of build pipelines and maintenance of Docker builds.
• Reports or advance information on football matches or other sporting events were automatically created using GenAI, based on game information, courses of previous games, information on player suspensions or injuries.
• In the financial portal, similar technology was used to automatically reformulate incoming DPA texts and, in other places, to create personalized reports for users from events in the financial market and changed price trends.

• The task of this project was to technically reposition Germany's largest news site. For this purpose, a custom-tailored CMS based on microservices was to be developed. I was brought in to enable the frontend team to develop a flexible management interface for the CMS based on React and GraphQL, as well as to develop the frontend part of the website via a mix of server-side rendered React and a smart frontend client, which should improve the performance of the site by retrieving further content via GraphQL. Here I defined the complete frontend architecture of both applications and helped the team write clean React code that remains maintainable and testable even with a large range of functions.
• The project made good progress, but was stopped in its original form towards autumn, as ultimately a finished enterprise CMS was to be purchased. I stayed with the project, even though now all requirements were completely changed. Under my leadership, we developed a component-based approach to template development, which the CMS did not support out of the box. This was possible because I developed an extensive build script in Node.js, which can compile our working files in a way that the CMS can understand. This allows us to work flexibly and in an organized manner, while the preparation of the templates, the styling based on SCSS, as well as modern frontend code in ES6 is converted and stored accordingly. High code quality is ensured here through a strict Git workflow, linters for JavaScript and SCSS, as well as unit tests that continuously check the individual components of the page.
• Here too, I defined how basic mechanics for loading CSS and JavaScript should work to deliver the T-Online page highly performantly for mobile and desktop users.

• This is a system completely tailored to customer requirements, which facilitates collaboration between several companies that act as service providers for PlayStation. It records all advertising and shop areas of PlayStation in all major electronics stores in the DACH region.
• Here, projects and campaigns are coordinated, inventories are managed, deliveries are initiated - along with the creation of delivery notes as PDF. The system contains a  complete management and monitoring of contract data with service providers and bookings of shop areas in stores. A support system for ticket-based processing of inquiries is also integrated.
• For field staff who perform controlling activities in the stores, mobile access to the system was created, through which the condition of the sales areas can be recorded and logged at any time via smartphone or tablet.
• The system is in constant further development and is extended and adapted in close cooperation with the customer in an agile approach.

• Accenture brought me in as a ReactJS expert to the Commerzbank digitalization project in spring 2017 to build better competencies in frontend development. My activities included the validation and revision of the source code of already written applications, as well as architectural planning of the development of new features and apps along with training of frontend developers on the project based on modern development principles. At the same time, I also developed the "building blocks" of the application ecosystem, which included a React component library that enables faster development of responsive and accessible applications. Furthermore, I developed a customized development environment based on Webpack, which facilitates the local work of all developers. In addition, I created tools and workflows for better API documentation and clean, more maintainable code structures during the project.
