Responsibility at last Assigment

• I was responsible for the Front Arena System stability during the last 15 Year at DZ BANK. 
• When I joint the Bank in 2007, the System got unstable after US Market Opening at 15:30 MEZ. 
• We have worked with the software vender successfully to get parameters to keep the system operational when a heavy market data storm occurs. 
• Several deficiencies that could only be identified at a live trading system - where several facts coming together and causing an incident - have been detected since then in every year. These faults were found across all system components in APH, AMPH, TAPS, AMAS, AMBA, ADS, PRIME, ATS and Entitlement Hub. 
• I was starting to develop a system monitoring, then based on EXCEL and Visual Basic, when I joint the company. 
• Today we are monitoring the Trade Travel Time from the Market Place into Front Arena with the various component latencies ? MarketPlace/Network/AMB/AMBA/DataBaseProcess. Helpful about the performance evaluation is the monitoring of the CPU load on the process level with the data buffer size of the related network connections. 
• I have linked data buffer size and CPU load of processes like ADS, PRIME, PRIME in PACE mode, APH, AMPH and TAPS. Historic data were helpful by any system migration. 
• Comparing the performance between the two versions is useful to avoid surprises on the live day. 
• I have technically handled the deployment of the OpenDACS user permission system, together with the implementation of the Refinitiv TREP-RT Market Data environment. 
• This project lasted nearly 2 years and required many software chances by the software vendor to make the system operational.
