• The request was to find out about the jobs to be done for IT upgrade to implement new LAN based Security Systems and Skype for business via DECT. The area is about 2.5 times 2.5 km (~ 6 km²). It will be the first of their sites to be upgraded.
• Site survey, infrastructure check, design of IT implementation in a steel industry with very complicate nad harsh conditions for electronic equipment. The onsite existing networks for 5 Departments have to stay physical separated.
• Hardest first step is to get the local people to use a chronograph and setup themselves to meet the requirements for appointments. After a couple of days you may win respect or loose at all and get nothing done.
