Implementation of an application for? sustainability rating (S-Rating) for all relevant companies and?suppliers with a high requirement for sustainable business practices. This enables the Volkswagen AG to assess the behavior and operations of its?business partners in its supply chain?in regard to factors pertaining to human rights, environmental protection, as well as corruption.? The application had to be used by hundreds of users with an identity and access management concept. Due to the large number of suppliers, the application had to scale significantly in terms of data throughput. To archive a high degree of automation in the S-Rating, a lot of external systems had to be integrated into the application via interfaces.?
