Geek Techware UG was born from the idea of combining the co-founders’ passions: software development, travelling and scuba diving. Geek Divers, a management system for dive centers and dive resorts, is the first SaaS entirely created, supported and maintained by Geek Techware, following Agile principles. My role in the company covers software design, quality and continuous delivery, clients management, Agile training and coaching, functional and technical support and administration. Both in the Geek Divers project and in every custom-made software project for our clients, I have been bringing the agile mindset every step of the way by:

• listening to our clients, their needs and their goals to design an appropriate transformation strategy;
• training clients’ staff on agile principles, Scrum ceremonies and metrics measurement;
• training the client’s upper management to embrace both the Digital Transformation and the Agile principles and everything that follows;
• temporarily covering the positions of Scrum Master or Product Owner and Agile Coach until the most suitable candidate was either hired or internally trained;
• coaching and mentoring both staff and upper management.

• Business design analysis and expression of requirements for the second Siebel release.
• Review and evaluation of functional documentation.
• Knowledge transfer to the test team.
• Constant involvement in the international project activities: localization, Change Requests, business requests. These activities took place mainly at the German branch of QVC.

• I joined the space division to train and coach the project teams to implement the agile mindset, frameworks and methodologies in their daily work.

As a result of the QVC global IT restructure I was promoted to a supervising position of the manual Test Team. I had 3 direct reports in QVC UK, I coordinated the tasks of 6 team members in QVC China and helped coordinate an international and distributed team of CRM functional testers. My tasks included but were not limited to: requirements management, test phase planning, collaboration with the Change Management and Development teams, reporting, incident management, mentoring and coaching, training organisation and delivery for QSO team, project risk management, monitoring of team performance, technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, team development and empowerment, change certification and management, process improvement through agile principles.

• Coordination of an international and distributed group of testers and Siebel testing activities together with the German colleagues, in accordance with the international project plan.
• Defect quality assurance through defect triage and defect management process.
• Reporting on daily testing phases data, defects and re-test.

• Training planning, writing and editing of user manuals, teaching aids and preparation of Oracle Siebel 8.1 Training environment with suitable data.
• Training of all the newly hired call center employees:
  • supervisors, order entry agents and customer service agents.
  • One-to-one re-training and skills evaluation of every agent.
  • Train-the-trainer and key-users training.

• Creation and update of documentation both for customers with different levels of technical knowledge and internal use, organization of training sessions (trainees, schedule, training material, training rooms) and delivery of training in English.
• I gathered information from developers, consultants and 3 application specialists and produced documents with registers and content that were suitable for the target audience.
• The documentation was usually delivered both in PDF files and as an entry in the internal Wiki system.
• I occasionally made video tutorials for the most complicated operations.
• The software that the company produces is an XML-based platform that is a must-have for news corporations to deliver multiple editions of newspapers and a constant update of their news portal.

• English as a Foreign Language Teacher.
• Levels: Beginners to Expert. One-to-one and group courses for companies, private students and FSE courses, general English, business English and English for special purposes (mainly technical and IT).
• Training and preparation for international ESOL examinations.
• Students age: early teens (12-14) and adults.

• Fairs and events planning, drafts writing and translations for new catalogues, contacts with architects, designers, exhibit booth constructors and editorial offices of specialized magazines.
• Telephone assistance to foreign and Italian customers on standard and special products.
• My main activities included the complete cycle of the special offer/order from the customer's request to the shipping details, going through the import-export basis.
• I used my language skills every day (English and Spanish).

Experience with analysis, configuration, validation, deployment and post-deployment of Oracle Siebel version 7.5.3 in a multinational pharmaceutical corporation in its headquarters in the northern part of Italy. During my time there I planned and delivered end-user training for the client’s export distributors together with my Project Manager and in cooperation with the client's Change Management office. The main phases of the project were:

• knowledge transfer from my colleagues who had customized the application,
• documentation writing in English with periodical checks and bugs tracking,
• participation in e-learning organization and recording,
• remote desktop and conference call session with each end user (about a hundred) to deliver end-user training.

• I cooked English breakfast for the hotel guests, cleaned their rooms and bathrooms and coordinated with my colleagues on the cleaning of the common areas.
• On a shift basis, I took reservations, provided information on the hotel or the city to the guests, welcomed them at their check-in and provided them with a smooth check-out.
