Developing and utilizing Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence methods to empower the following projects: (i) Reconstruction, processing, segmentation & analysis of medical images, (ii) Developing OptoMyoGraphy (OMG) sensors in addition to the required signal processing and pattern recognition, (iii) Developing imaging spectroscopy sensors and systems in addition to hyperspectral imaging systems, (iv) Automated analysis of hyperspectral images and spectroscopic data. 50+ Papers/Publications (detailed list of publications at Google Scholar).
Teaching Tasks:
Assistant supervisor of 4 PhD students. Supervision of 50+ diploma thesis projects (at MSc and BSc levels). Teaching Master and Bachelor level courses dealing with Medical Image Acquisition, Processing, Reconstruction and Analysis.

I am a machine/deep learning expert with a mindset of an inventor and an entrepreneur. My passion is to invent new approaches for using machine/deep learning, especially in combination with Computer Vision. I have extensive experience in research and development. I was involved in numerous projects aiming at finding innovative ideas and solutions and achieving creative implementations that are optimized for customer needs. My focus technical field is artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning (Python, Keras) and signal/image/data processing, analysis, understanding and reconstruction. I am also interested in strategic planning and adaptation of the solution and the implementation to the marketing strategy and customer segment. I always try to combine having a friendly and motivating atmosphere with keeping the required work-rate to meet deadlines. I respect all constructive opinions and value all contributions, especially the creative ones. I always find it exciting to create practical and efficient solutions that are profitable and used in real-life products and services. My spare time interests are photography, ping pong, in addition to walking in nature.
