The client will migrate workloads from their VMWare platform to a managed virtualization service provider.
As their solution architect and program manager I am currently preparing the PoC, network design and implementation as well as base infrastructure design.
In Q3/Q4 we will execute the PoC and plan full migration accordingly.
The client was rolling out SAP to their customers and faced a huge ticket backlog.
As their consultant I provided PowerBI reports and dash boards as well as KPIs and process advice to improve the support processes and reduce the backlog.
After bringing down backlog by 75% we now enter into a massive process improvement phase introducing governance and management processes in order to avoid build-up of future ticket backlogs and enable the junior management roles to handle their responsibilities more efficiently.
The insurance clients wants to improve their disaster recovery capabilities and therefore introduce a third data center holding all necessary services for a full outage of the existing redundant data centers.
As their solution architect I designed the data center, created a request for proposal and put the whole thing to tender, executed the tender and provided a recommendation to the executive management.
Next step will be the implementation of the data center in a follow-up project.
Client wants to improve their data centers in order to optimize their cost structure, improve flexibility and enable the "cloud first" strategy of their business units.
I have provided an in-depth analysis of the existing data centers and provided improvement advise which led to a multi-project in 2025 to plan for International cloud (Azure) and German cloud (IONOS) migration.
Acting in the role of program manager for the multi-project and solution architect for the data center migration solution, I have prepared, executed and led the tender process.
Actually I am preparing the next phase and setting up the proof of concepts as well as the global network, security and workload infrastructure managing the internal teams as well as provider teams.
The banking client wants to improve their compliance processes, especially in the area of Identity & Access Management, and therefore migrate from Ogitix Unimate to One Identity Manager.
