INTEGRATED BODY ECU FOR BMW:
Maintenance and Issue Analysis of Body Control Module project which includes the following functionalities on 1 or 2 micros depending on the variant: Power Windows, Central Locking System, Wipers and Washer, Park Distance Control. Team members located in Spain and India.
This was complex architecture project including dual-core processor with independent functionalities on each core the body control module (lights, central locking, radio control, window heating etc, and a gateway system) Responsibilities includes the integration of the comfort functionality which included Central Locking, Window Lifters, Sunroof functionality in an AUTOSAR architecture and Resident Engineer Support onsite in the VW factories in Spain and Germany.
These ASIL-C projects had a complex architecture of multi processors, with dual-core processors and single-core for safety with independent functionalities on each core (functionalities like lights, steering column lock, power windows, central locking and the gateway of the car controlling the communication of the FlexRay, Ethernet, CAN and LIN busses).
Lights module; support the Team Leader with the Problem Resolution management (team located in Spain and India).
This project was controlling the sunroof, ASIL-B project. Responsibility of training and support for the team related to the software driver architecture of the sunroof motors.
This was an ASIL-C projects with a complex architecture with custom designed processors and microcontrollers. My responsibility was to lead the local team in Romania, report to the project manager in Germany and create the software releases.
Local Software Responsible - 6 mos
Embedded Software Engineer - 2 yrs, 10 mos
This project was controlling the sunroof; ASIL-B project. Responsibility of integration of the a CAN driver and the integration of the Diagnostic jobs according to the development process from Siemens VDO (now Continental).
This project controlled the sunroof for several car models from Volkswagen Audi Group. My responsibilities was to implement a variant manager, taking care of the LIN communication and diagnostics, EEPROM driver configuration and maintenance for the project.
