Make it possible to use Pallets for cross docking
Cross docking is the logistical term for not delivering directly to the customer for example if the order goes crossborder, it rather goes to another warehouse and be on the fly repackaged on another truck
I was involved in the implementation and we implemented it in a way that we only use single items or the order as source
The new process allows the warehouse users to use pallets which makes the process much faster and speeds up warehouse workers a lot
I was the lead on it
Helping to dockerize the applications and to move away from the Monorepo
Introduced the Day of Choice for Europe
The day of choice was a customer experience project
This project focused on letting the customer choose the date of delivery
This takes a bit of pressure from the warehouses as a side effect
I was in charge of the implementation and the cross functional teamwork as well as the pilot of this project.
Carrier Integration for Europe
When I started at Wayfair we had just a few carriers fully integrated I was in charge to cooperate and align with transportation to integrate more carriers and make the APIs on our side work with the carrier API
I implemented various other carriers in our system among them XPD and DHL Home delivery

I was working for a company importing PVC in different grades to India
The job required the hiring and on boarding of a team and the end to end development of a sales platform for their customers
This project had the goal to give the customers a platform to deal with other or with JS International, Also it was thought as a platform as a service
The customers can chat with each other negotiate the price or they can ask customer care to find them a good deal and we take care of this
The project was purely written in javascript backend was nodejs and we decided that we use Angular for the frontend
I was responsible for the maintenance of our internal tooling which we used to launch and maintain sales campaigns with. The maintenance also includes the development of new features and also close customer contact internally
I helped to rewrite the whole internal tool set in golang using AWS technology and stubs.io design from Zalando
I helped to make it move to the cloud this was a steep learning curve for me. We used the Zalando concept on this stups.io
I Implemented the new side layout with broken grid in our tooling to provide the user entered layout for frontend and export it to them
I implemented the continuous stock take for the Warehouses
Finishing and launch of the model shooting toolset
helped to define the new backend engine for delivering the data to frontend in Java
