Development of a Angular2 Application to dynamically render a Html Form template using drag and drop functionality. This application would then be integrated into a Content management system where the content author can create, edit and save the templates

Responsibilities:

Project Summary:

The project involves the development and setup of IT Platform which can be used by the insurance agencies to insure companies and people from natural disasters such as Earthquake’s, Floods etc. The Software platform has been developed with the latest Framework’s such as Angular JS, JAXRS 2.0, thus making it very flexible and very efficient

Responsibilities:

• Migration of the existing AngularJs application to Angular2.0
• Development of REST Based Services for efficient and asynchronous retrieval of data. The services built to support to both mobile and desktop devices
• Development of a prototype to check the performance and feasibility of a hybrid android app using Angularjs and Cordova.
• Development of Native Android Application used for reporting.
• Development and Design of UI using AngularJS and Bootstrap Css Framework
• UI prototyping with Angular-Material (Material Design implementation for desktop devices)
• GIS (Geographic Information System) based UI Prototype to visualize, analyse trends using Leaflet API and

Project Summary:

Development of a AngularJs prototype using the Mean Stack (NodeJs,Express JS, MongoDB). This Prototype was developed to reduce the development time needed for the backend services which would later be implemented in Java/ DB2.

Responsibilities:

• Development of Backend Services using NODEJs and ExpressJs
• Definition and creation of Database schemas using MongoDB and mongoose (Javascript Utility Framework to interact with mongodb)
• Definition and design of RestFul API
• Design and implementation of UI using Bootstrap 3 and AngularJs

Project Summary:

The Mercedes-Benz Digital Sales Platform contains different modules which include the Car Configurator

(Functionality that allows the user to configure a car), Test Drive Requests (Functionality allows a user to a request a test drive of a particular vehicle), Brochure Requests for Mercedes-Benz Vehicles (Functionality allows brochures to be requested  online for a particular vehicle), Dealer Search (User can search for a dealer and will be provided with the map and routing directions), Vehicle Search (Functionality to search for used and Stock Mercedes-Benz Vehicles), a Custom relationship Management module (CRM) which can be used by the user to avail coupons and set up service appointments  with the dealer. The Project also facilitates integration and communication of different modules and is embedded in a content managementsystem (Communique), since there is a very high volume of traffic on the sales platform, it requires extensive design, development and testing phases.

Responsibilities:

• Development of RestFul Web Services for retrieval of data over the HTTP protocol for frontends developed in different programming languages, these services deliver data in JSON or XML formats which can then processed by the frontends.
• Development of a prototype to analyze the advantages/disadvantages in using GWT as a frontend technology for developing the Mercedes-Benz Car configurator.
• Development of an Open social container using Apache Shindig for gadget integration within the Mercedes-Benz Car Configurator. The open social container facilitates frontend integration with external services in the form of gadgets.
• Development and design of a stateless Car configurator prototype to analyze the performance/configurability of being stateless
• Reverse Engineering and Modeling using Innovator to document existing processes in the Project

Responsibilities:

• Development of a Module which interacts with an external service to retrieve maps, geo-coordinates and routing instructions, this module is used by the end user to find the directions to a nearby Mercedes-Benz Dealer.
• Development of a Data Loader using a SAX Parser, Java Reflection and SQL Meta Data to reduce the data load time from 30 minutes to under 2 minutes.
• Analysis of Heap dumps,Thread dumps and production log files to find the different issues affecting the system and applying effective fixes to solve the issues.
• Worked in a consulting role for the migration of project from Websphere 6.0 to WebSphere 8.0
• Development of JMeter Load Test Scripts for load and performance testing, Based on the tests, JVM and SQL query Tuning were done to improve the Performance of the System under load.
• Responsible for providing Critical Hot Fixes to the production environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide Co-ordination between the onsite and offshore team based in India to improve the communication and turnaround time for development and maintenance of the project.
• Evaluation/Design/ Implementations of Change Requests critical for adding new features to the existing System
• Code /Design Review for the changes done by the off shore team based in India
• Administration of WebSphere Application Server/ Database Servers for Development. This involved creation of auto deployment scripts using Jacl/ Jython.
• Development of automated build / Release scripts using Apache Ant.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance/ Bug Fixing and Development of Change Request for the Mercedes-Benz Digital Sales Platform which includes modules such as the Car Configurator, Dealer Search, Used Vehicle Search and Email Processing/Brochure Request from the customer to the Dealer
• Migration of the Platform from WebSphere 4.0 to WebSphere 6.0 and DB2 version 7.1 to DB2 Version 8.5
• WebSphere and DB2 server administration on Windows Server and Unix Platforms
