Implementing A client portal and backend to automate business processes for transportation of goods over different types of routes. 

• As part of small 3 person team we are developing on a important application for the government where all the logistics for transporting explosive goods is being registered and approved. 
• This is a new project and replaces the manual work that is being done. 
• We implement using high quality standards by leveraging libraries tools and standard that adhere to Belgian Government policies. 
• The backend is written with Java on Spring boot using OpenAPI and JPA repositories. 
• There are two frontends in Angular 17 one for the front-office and for the back-office that we are developing. 
• Integrated spring security with KeyCloak for SSO. 
• Also implemented digital signing of documents with certificates.

• As a full-stack developer, I worked on a business portal for car reservations, leveraging Angular 17 with TypeScript for the frontend. My primary focus was building a scalable and modular frontend, utilizing Angular's component-based architecture, reactive forms, and lazy loading for optimized performance. On the frontend, I contributed to writing automated tests with Cypress for end-to-end testing, simulating real user interactions to detect and resolve issues early. • As a full-stack developer, I developed an application with a balanced focus on both front-end and back-end development. The application was used to create product and ticket pricing configurations for public transport, adhering to a WSDL specification. The configuration tool allowed users to create new products through a form-based graphical user interface (GUI), with built-in validation against business rules. Once validated, users could export the configurations as XML files for use in other platforms like OV-Pay and the National Railroads NS.
• The frontend of the application was built using TypeScript and Angular 17, where I leveraged my deep understanding of Angular's core principles, including component-based architecture, dependency injection, and reactive programming with RxJS. I implemented dynamic form controls using Angular's reactive forms module, allowing users to input complex data that could be validated in real time. On the back-end, I integrated the application with a WSDL-based web service to ensure seamless communication and data exchange. I implemented services to handle requests and responses, ensuring that product configurations were validated against the WSDL specification. Throughout the development process, I focused on building a robust, maintainable application with clear separation of concerns between the front-end and back-end, making it easier to scale and maintain. My experience with Angular and the design of form-based user interfaces was crucial to delivering a solution that was both functional and user-friendly for the business and domain experts

• As lead developer of the technical team, I was responsible for the technical upgrade track alongside three other Senior developers. This included migrating from in-house build tools like Mercurial, Gradle, Nexus, and Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD, ensuring a modernized and streamlined development pipeline. We also focused on updating from Java 7 to Java 11 and ensuring external dependencies, such as Spring and Java EE libraries, were compliant with Java 11. 
• The goal was to make the platform sustainable, secure, and maintainable. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in migrating the Angular 2 frontend from JavaScript to TypeScript and upgrading to Angular 16. This transition involved working extensively with tools and frameworks such as NgMaterial, NgRx for state management, and i18n for internationalization, ensuring the frontend was responsive, performant, and adaptable for global users. 
• I also led the integration of modern front-end libraries and tools such as Axios for API requests, moment.js for date handling, Lodash for utility functions, Bootstrap for UI components, and Node-sass for styling, ensuring a cohesive and optimized development experience. 
• In terms of testing and automation, I used Jest for unit testing, Mocha for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing, and improved the overall quality assurance process. We standardized the codebase using Linter, Prettier for code formatting, and Babel for JavaScript transpiling to ensure consistency and maintainability. 
• For task automation and build management, I migrated tools like Gulp and Grunt to use Bower instead, as well as implemented log4js for robust logging throughout the application. All of these improvements significantly enhanced the team's workflow, contributing to faster development cycles, increased security, and improved platform stability.

• As developer in a three persons team, we are developing on a project to connect international Identity systems to the Dutch governmental login system for citizens known as EiDas. Creating custom webservices to process SOAP requests pass them to consume information from other webservices. 
• On this project we developed multiple webservice clients and endpoint for testing and security using Java8, Spring, JAX-WS and JAX-RS with a JBoss server. 
• I created also the CXF policies and was responsible for creating the TLS/SSL and encryption certificates for the security protocols. We tested our services using SOAPUI, Writing unit tests with JUnit 5 and using robot framework for test automation. 
• Our application was being built with Maven, Jenkins and Docker images. I also created a HTTP proxy server for testing and mocking external systems. And integrated security measures.

The current web application must comply with a new law in effect from Jan. 2020. This requires the creation of various new screens and completely new workflows.
