In-Flight Information System

Tasks

• Windows 10 port, adaptive UI from mobile to Surface Hub. Backend security review for ADFS and AAD endpoints.

Research Spark Cluster on Azure

Tasks

• The customer runs two big data stages ? reconstruction and analysis. The reconstruction is implemented using Azure Batch Apps (200 A2 nodes), analysis uses Azure Virtual Machines to provide an on-demand Apache Spark cluster (64 D14 nodes to reach 1000 core requirement) that accesses the reconstruction output. This has been implemented before the availability of the Spark offering on Azure, using ARM templates and custom Linux VMs.
