As part of their IT Hardening Program, Knauf startet a Network Segmentation

project in 2022. I supported the rollout of over 300 FortiGate firewalls in more

than 50 countries, developed policies and analyzed security incidents. I created

runbooks and documentation for the new infrastructure and lead the

international CROWDCONSULTANTS team to provide 24/7 monitoring and

support to the different teams within Knauf.

As Managed Security Service Provider for Security Consulting and SOC services dacoso focuses on tailor-made security solutions and 24/7 monitoring. I developed new services and products, consulted on the onboarding process of customers and analyzed security incidents. I was also responsible for the assessment of topical threat intelligence from federal agencies and partners and performed threat hunting for malicious activities in the customer?s infrastructure.

My main responsibility was the network security of SITA Airport IT, Düsseldorf Airport and all clients. I analyzed outages, security incidents and suspicious network traffic, managed the VPN migration project and administrated nextgeneration access controls. I also developed Ansible playbooks for the network automation project. I was responsible for the training of apprentices and a member of the DevSecOps team for the CISO.

SITA Airport IT is a subsidiary of SITA and Düsseldorf Airport and specialised in IT solutions for the aviation industry. I configured switches, routers and wifi access points of the airport campus network and analyzed incidents and outages. I administrated firewalls and VPN gateways to provide access for airport personnel and their service providers, as well as airlines and other international clients.
