  • I led the transformation from Waterfall to Agile/Scrum for the WePartner Online Team, a key component of Medtronic's diabetes program. In this role, I managed an international team with members from Portugal, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, ensuring the successful adoption and integration of Agile practices. I oversaw the development and rollout of the WePartner online platform across Europe, build in Salesforce. Our product was successfully launched in countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Germany, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Israel, and Greece. The product won the "Best Digital Product of the Year" award at the Life Science Excellence Awards in 2023 and received the "Victory Flag" for the best product team within Medtronic in 2024.
  • By resolving conflicts and fostering accountability, I promoted a healthy team dynamic and cultivated a culture of trust. I supported the team in adopting Agile practices, leading to improved productivity and higher quality deliverables, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. In close collaboration with the Product Owner, I ensured effective communication with stakeholders, clarified requirements and expectations, and maintained alignment with priorities and objectives. Additionally, I identified and resolved obstacles impeding the team's progress, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of projects.
  • Within Medtronic's Agile Community of Practice (CoP), I actively contributed by delivering training programs such as Scrum Awareness, Scrum Foundation, Scrum Master Training, and Psychological Safety Training. I founded a community for Scrum Masters and Product Owners within Medtronic to foster continuous learning and improvement. Alongside my fellow Scrum Masters, I developed OKRs for the Agile transformation, including goals such as reducing time to market and establishing feedback loops. We designed and implemented a Scrum Master Impact Survey and a team morale survey to measure and enhance team performance and satisfaction. I mentored and coached Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners, including the Orion and Enhance teams, supporting their professional growth and strengthening the Agile culture within the organization.

  • The ABNAMRO Clearing is undergoing an agile transition since the start of 2019, together with the Agile coach and 8 Scrum Masters, I have guided 120+ employees towards agile working. The scaling methodology used is SAFe and the grid for the clearing consists out of 21 scrum teams.
  • I am the Scrum Master of 2 Scrum teams and helped the teams set their goal and start with Scrum as a framework. Facilitated Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand ups, backlog refinement. Sprint planning, retrospectives, etc. I removed impediments for the team as needed. Worked with the product owner to order the backlog and plan sprints. Helped the teams in setting up their own Jira board. Led and coached Product Owners to improve story writing, feature discovery, and requirements gathering process; leading to an increase in customer satisfaction and a decrease in time-to-delivery. Facilitate and plan for GO-live activities. Helped the team in setting up metrics for themselves, the metrics include: Predictability, Impedements, team Happiness and Incidents/unplanned work. In this way have the team focus on improving over time in being more predictable and having their impedements solved and lead the team efforts towards continuous improvements.
  • One of the teams I guide are developing the clearing house for the future. Within the team they build Java microsservices and have developed a CI/CD pipeline for the private cloud of the bank.
  • I have provided training for the Scrum masters and their teams related to agile/ Scrum best practices, understanding and improving team dynamics and team performance. Focus on training for the team on writing user stories, prioritizing work based on value and performing the tasks by the team. Training sessions included: Scrum masterclass, Metrics, Value Stream Mapping, Design workshop, Refinement masterclass.
  • Together with other enthusiasts I have organized the first 24 hours Hackathon for the Clearing. We had over 80 particpipants from all over the world. During the hackathon we had livestreams running from Sidney, Hongkong, Stuttgart and Chicago to Amsterdam.
  • Due to the Corona crisis we have become accustomed to the new normal, everybody works from home, and we have to work with tools like, WebEx, Slack and Jabber to communicate with eachother. With the Scrum Master circle we have discussed many times the ways of working within the teams, so that we could learn from each other and experiment with this new way of working. With regard to that my teams were used really fast to this new reality, where we first were co-located and now everybody is working from home. Besides that, we organized fun things to do, like online drinks and a pubquiz.

  • The e-commerce site for ECI must be upgraded to version 7.8 of Intershop, the current version 7.1 is out of support. Due to the upgrade it will be possible to simplify the application landscape, because Fredhopper can be phased out. Next to that we can move on to new technologies like React for the frontend. The backend is being built in Intershop with Java on top of an Oracle database.
  • Within ECI I am responsible for two multidisciplinary scrum teams consisting of frontend developers, backend developers, visual designers and UX-ers. For the team we work with off-shoring in India and near-shoring with Germany and engineers in the Dutch office. I am the coach making sure the processes fit well and process improvements for collaboration within the teams are being realized. I facilitate the retrospective and together with the team I take care that the improvements found, are being realized. I have given training to the team, explaining the scrum essentials to them. Next to that I can explain the agile/scrum way of working and show how the different parts of it enhance each other. I have helped the team in setting up the CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins, Nexus, BitBucket, Gradle, SonarQube and Selenium for our DTAP environment. Together with the product owner I coordinated the grooming of the product backlog and guided the corresponding story point estimation.
  • Being an agile coach, I help ECI with their agile transformation, through finding and solving bottlenecks and possible enhancements in their agile environment. I write consciously ?help? and not ?advise?, because I work together with ECI to solve their problems. I help teams to prioritize and structure their activities and facilitate the process of continuous improvements, through identifying bottlenecks helping to search for solutions. I coach managers on Agile leadership and help enabling improvements at an organizational level and where needed to improve the flow of all changes. I am an agile coach that looks from the human- as well as the process perspective at the agile organization: in the end it is not the people that need to adhere to the rules of scrum or safe, instead they should be able to work together to change ECI iteratively.

  • At Sanoma I work as the Scrum Master for (URL on request), a lead generation application. I am an evangelist for the Agile values, principles and practices, and take the leading role as a coach in ensuring the continued success of the Scrum process. I am a dedicated Scrum Master for 2 teams, work with IT as well as the business to propagate the Agile way of working. Working closely with the PO, I improve planning predictability, based on a healthy backlog and historical velocity. I drive continuous improvement by harvesting from team retrospectives, and amplifying feedback loops. I protect the team from external and internal distractions and interference. I Identify and help remove impediments to the team's successful delivery of the sprint goal. I do track the key-metrics of the team, i.e. velocity, burn-down, team happiness.
  • The DevOps teams continuously improve Kieskeurig in the following areas, SEO/SEA, performance improvements, adaptions for cookie consent, improvements to the responsive website and the mobile app as well to the front as well as back end side of the product. Enabling the possibility to compare over 1 million products. Creating extensions to the shop feeds and their prices, but also complete redesign of the reviews of our customers. 
  • As the Scrum Master I work with the DevOps teams of 9 and 6 engineers, developers, testers and a DevOps-er. The techniques we use are the AWS Cloud, Python, PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, Elastic Search, C-Sharp. We work with the tools Jira, Github, Sonar, Confluence and Hipchat. And we created an OTAP environment with Ansible, Vagrant, Bamboo, with continuous integration, the code is automatically deployed, tested and checked for quality.

  • As the Scrum Master I take care of the daily coordination, I facilitate the team processes and make sure all agreements are kept for a new team of engineers of the Bank Contact Cloud. I coach the team to become better at their job. I also guard the quality through having retrospectives, code reviews, automatic use of Sonar, CheckMarx and the definition of done. The API that we build, will be capable of matching the IBAN against the accountholders name and will be used by the Bank App. The application itself contains three main areas, a part that contains fuzzy logic for name recognition (20 mln requests per day), a part for reading the bankdata (50 mln records) and the last that will be arranged is the security, as bankdata must be secured in the cloud.
  • As the Scrum Master I work with a team of seven engineers, Java developers, Architect, Security engineer and DevOps engineer. We make use of the AWS Cloud, including AuroraDb, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Lambda and GatewayAPI. The tools used are: Jira, Github, Sonar, CheckMarx, and the tools Jenkins, CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

  • As a senior project manager, I work on the Project ONE program, a key part of the TOPS 2020 International roadmap. For the program, I realize a rationalized model for the international core-banking landscape that meets both TOPS 2020 architecture and PBI requirements. Project ONE refers to having ?one? international core banking platform with ?one? operating model and solution per business line: Project ONE will deliver convergence to an integrated banking platform for the PBI countries in scope. As senior project manager I work closely together with 4 other Project Managers, each with their own responsibilities. The responsibility I have are the streams: Payments, Customer&Accounts, Finance and Tax&Accounting, Client output, Channels and Reporting. All streams are being executed by analysts, designers, developers end testers. The core banking package for IT International, T24, this ERP package needs to be extended for PBI and still be able to handle all the existing CBI clients. The first countries for roll out are: Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Belgium, Luxembourg and Guernsey.
  • The program is divided in several streams, each with their individual business analysts, designers, developers and testers, which I have led to realize the requirements for the PBI customers. The project is managed within a Prince2 environment, where I have created the Mandate and PID. Within that environment I had to manage the project together with the project board to make sure the requested deliverables will be delivered within the release wise development set up.
  • Within the team I had to manage the different suppliers for the project as we had the supplier for T24, Temenos and the supplier for testing, Cognizant. Both suppliers had to be managed to deliver the new Core system for our PBI customers.
  • For the stream Customer & Accounts I have set up 2 scrum teams for the delivery of the new Customer set up. The bank is changing and transforming the organization into Agile/Scrum. Within this program the new approach for the Customer set up fits very well and I am guiding the 2 teams as the Scrum Master. The team received several courses on Agile and Scrum, and I have guided the team as the Scrum master. At a higher level the team was managed through the Safe model.

Because of my profound knowledge on IT in the area of technique, DevOps and Continuous Delivery I can coach, measure and professionalize my team efficiently. The team works with Linux Java, tomcat, Oracle, CD tooling, Jenkins, Maven, Nolio, GIT, Fitnesse, Artifactory, etc?   • This project has two goals: the upgrade of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and the development of 8 new workflows. The workflows will make sure that the departments will work more structured and efficiently. The upgrades main reasons are: To get support on the running software, to get performance improvement and to get high availability. The current software versions of the EDMS application are out of date and all need to be upgraded to newer versions, these are: AIX operating system, DB2 Database, WebSphere, MQ, CM, Domino Workflow and HACMP.
  • EDMS is a web-based Java application running in Websphere. In the project a baseline was created for the performance. After the upgrade the performance was measured again and held against the baseline. Analysis revealed many performance improvements in the Java code, after applying these, the EDMS performance was improved significantly and the application ran 100x faster.
  • As the Scrum Master I was responsible for having the team work optimally. My activities include the following:
    • Manage multiple Scrum teams and guard the timelines and agreements
    • Facilitate the Scrum teams and manage the dependencies between them
    • Keep the overview on the complex technology; help prioritizing and the organization of the backlog
    • Guide the technical design and the implementation of the different processes
    • Coach the team on Scrum and Agile software processes (e.g. continuous deployment)
  • The approach for the system development life cycle was Agile/Scrum and the team was divided into two feature teams. Together with the team I have defined iterations of 3 weeks and release schedule of 3 months. Monitored project activities and advised staff of issues due to resource availability. Internally I had to manage the different departments of CIB, the business, security, infrastructure, communications, operations, the Helpdesk and finally the hand over to support.

  • Due to the merger of ING and Postbank a lot of the existing applications needed migration. Because of these migrations, the current application RIS is less and less reliable. That is why a new internet application needs to be realized, Kijkglas, which enables Sales, the Mid offices, and Back Offices to view the customer information.
  • The used project management methodology is Prince2 and for the development process Agile/Scrum is applied. On the one hand I created the project controls like, Project Mandate, Project Brief, PID, etc? and on the other we followed the Agile approach where we used the sprints for the development of the application.
  • As the Scrum Master I facilitate and coach the team and the product owner with respect to the collaboration, the self-control and team responsibility. I involve engineers in taking decisions and encourage them to do what is needed and expected and stimulate the team to take risks and to be pro-active to help our customers, stakeholders and internal clients. I support the groups processes, sessions and workshops, for that I organize the planning sessions, sprint reviews and the retrospective and facilitate the way of working, quality and behavior of the team members. I take care of the transparency of the results the team commits to and the degree these are met. I escalate obstacles (impediments), which block the results of the team and guard the progress. Next to that I report the weekly progress, impediments, risks and learning points.

  • I led the Agile transformation and delivery for a high-impact project migrating 1,600 customers from HP Service Desk to Service Manager 7.   • The ABNAMRO Clearing is undergoing an agile transition since the start of 2019, together with the Agile coach and 8 Scrum Masters, I have guided 120+ employees towards agile working. The scaling methodology used is SAFe and the grid for the clearing consists out of 21 scrum teams.
  • I am the Scrum Master of 2 Scrum teams and helped the teams set their goal and start with Scrum as a framework. Facilitated Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand ups, backlog refinement. Sprint planning, retrospectives, etc. I removed impediments for the team as needed. Worked with the product owner to order the backlog and plan sprints. Helped the teams in setting up their own Jira board. Led and coached Product Owners to improve story writing, feature discovery, and requirements gathering process; leading to an increase in customer satisfaction and a decrease in time-to-delivery. Facilitate and plan for GO-live activities. Helped the team in setting up metrics for themselves, the metrics include: Predictability, Impedements, team Happiness and Incidents/unplanned work. In this way have the team focus on improving over time in being more predictable and having their impedements solved and lead the team efforts towards continuous improvements.
  • One of the teams I guide are developing the clearing house for the future. Within the team they build Java microsservices and have developed a CI/CD pipeline for the private cloud of the bank.
  • I have provided training for the Scrum masters and their teams related to agile/ Scrum best practices, understanding and improving team dynamics and team performance. Focus on training for the team on writing user stories, prioritizing work based on value and performing the tasks by the team. Training sessions included: Scrum masterclass, Metrics, Value Stream Mapping, Design workshop, Refinement masterclass.
  • Together with other enthusiasts I have organized the first 24 hours Hackathon for the Clearing. We had over 80 particpipants from all over the world. During the hackathon we had livestreams running from Sidney, Hongkong, Stuttgart and Chicago to Amsterdam.
  • Due to the Corona crisis we have become accustomed to the new normal, everybody works from home, and we have to work with tools like, WebEx, Slack and Jabber to communicate with eachother. With the Scrum Master circle we have discussed many times the ways of working within the teams, so that we could learn from each other and experiment with this new way of working. With regard to that my teams were used really fast to this new reality, where we first were co-located and now everybody is working from home. Besides that, we organized fun things to do, like online drinks and a pubquiz.

  • The e-commerce site for ECI must be upgraded to version 7.8 of Intershop, the current version 7.1 is out of support. Due to the upgrade it will be possible to simplify the application landscape, because Fredhopper can be phased out. Next to that we can move on to new technologies like React for the frontend. The backend is being built in Intershop with Java on top of an Oracle database.
  • Within ECI I am responsible for two multidisciplinary scrum teams consisting of frontend developers, backend developers, visual designers and UX-ers. For the team we work with off-shoring in India and near-shoring with Germany and engineers in the Dutch office. I am the coach making sure the processes fit well and process improvements for collaboration within the teams are being realized. I facilitate the retrospective and together with the team I take care that the improvements found, are being realized. I have given training to the team, explaining the scrum essentials to them. Next to that I can explain the agile/scrum way of working and show how the different parts of it enhance each other. I have helped the team in setting up the CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins, Nexus, BitBucket, Gradle, SonarQube and Selenium for our DTAP environment. Together with the product owner I coordinated the grooming of the product backlog and guided the corresponding story point estimation.
  • Being an agile coach, I help ECI with their agile transformation, through finding and solving bottlenecks and possible enhancements in their agile environment. I write consciously ?help? and not ?advise?, because I work together with ECI to solve their problems. I help teams to prioritize and structure their activities and facilitate the process of continuous improvements, through identifying bottlenecks helping to search for solutions. I coach managers on Agile leadership and help enabling improvements at an organizational level and where needed to improve the flow of all changes. I am an agile coach that looks from the human- as well as the process perspective at the agile organization: in the end it is not the people that need to adhere to the rules of scrum or safe, instead they should be able to work together to change ECI iteratively.

I am an evangelist for the Agile values, principles and practices, and take the leading role as a coach in ensuring the continued success of the Scrum process. I am a dedicated Scrum Master for 2 teams, work with IT as well as the business to propagate the Agile way of working. Working closely with the PO, I improve planning predictability, based on a healthy backlog and historical velocity. I drive continuous improvement by harvesting from team retrospectives, and amplifying feedback loops. I protect the team from external and internal distractions and interference. I Identify and help remove impediments to the team's successful delivery of the sprint goal. I do track the key-metrics of the team, i.e. velocity, burn-down, team happiness.
  • The DevOps teams continuously improve Kieskeurig in the following areas, SEO/SEA, performance improvements, adaptions for cookie consent, improvements to the responsive website and the mobile app as well to the front as well as back end side of the product. Enabling the possibility to compare over 1 million products. Creating extensions to the shop feeds and their prices, but also complete redesign of the reviews of our customers. 
  • As the Scrum Master I work with the DevOps teams of 9 and 6 engineers, developers, testers and a DevOps-er. The techniques we use are the AWS Cloud, Python, PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, Elastic Search, C-Sharp. We work with the tools Jira, Github, Sonar, Confluence and Hipchat. And we created an OTAP environment with Ansible, Vagrant, Bamboo, with continuous integration, the code is automatically deployed, tested and checked for quality.

  • As the Scrum Master I take care of the daily coordination, I facilitate the team processes and make sure all agreements are kept for a new team of engineers of the Bank Contact Cloud. I coach the team to become better at their job. I also guard the quality through having retrospectives, code reviews, automatic use of Sonar, CheckMarx and the definition of done. The API that we build, will be capable of matching the IBAN against the accountholders name and will be used by the Bank App. The application itself contains three main areas, a part that contains fuzzy logic for name recognition (20 mln requests per day), a part for reading the bankdata (50 mln records) and the last that will be arranged is the security, as bankdata must be secured in the cloud.
  • As the Scrum Master I work with a team of seven engineers, Java developers, Architect, Security engineer and DevOps engineer. We make use of the AWS Cloud, including AuroraDb, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Lambda and GatewayAPI. The tools used are: Jira, Github, Sonar, CheckMarx, and the tools Jenkins, CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

  • As a senior project manager, I work on the Project ONE program, a key part of the TOPS 2020 International roadmap. For the program, I realize a rationalized model for the international core-banking landscape that meets both TOPS 2020 architecture and PBI requirements. Project ONE refers to having ?one? international core banking platform with ?one? operating model and solution per business line: Project ONE will deliver convergence to an integrated banking platform for the PBI countries in scope. As senior project manager I work closely together with 4 other Project Managers, each with their own responsibilities. The responsibility I have are the streams: Payments, Customer&Accounts, Finance and Tax&Accounting, Client output, Channels and Reporting. All streams are being executed by analysts, designers, developers end testers. The core banking package for IT International, T24, this ERP package needs to be extended for PBI and still be able to handle all the existing CBI clients. The first countries for roll out are: Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Belgium, Luxembourg and Guernsey.
  • The program is divided in several streams, each with their individual business analysts, designers, developers and testers, which I have led to realize the requirements for the PBI customers. The project is managed within a Prince2 environment, where I have created the Mandate and PID. Within that environment I had to manage the project together with the project board to make sure the requested deliverables will be delivered within the release wise development set up.
  • Within the team I had to manage the different suppliers for the project as we had the supplier for T24, Temenos and the supplier for testing, Cognizant. Both suppliers had to be managed to deliver the new Core system for our PBI customers.
  • For the stream Customer & Accounts I have set up 2 scrum teams for the delivery of the new Customer set up. The bank is changing and transforming the organization into Agile/Scrum. Within this program the new approach for the Customer set up fits very well and I am guiding the 2 teams as the Scrum Master. The team received several courses on Agile and Scrum, and I have guided the team as the Scrum master. At a higher level the team was managed through the Safe model.

Because of my profound knowledge on IT in the area of technique, DevOps and Continuous Delivery I can coach, measure and professionalize my team efficiently.   • This project has two goals: the upgrade of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and the development of 8 new workflows. The workflows will make sure that the departments will work more structured and efficiently. The upgrades main reasons are: To get support on the running software, to get performance improvement and to get high availability. The current software versions of the EDMS application are out of date and all need to be upgraded to newer versions, these are: AIX operating system, DB2 Database, WebSphere, MQ, CM, Domino Workflow and HACMP.
  • EDMS is a web-based Java application running in Websphere. In the project a baseline was created for the performance. After the upgrade the performance was measured again and held against the baseline. Analysis revealed many performance improvements in the Java code, after applying these, the EDMS performance was improved significantly and the application ran 100x faster.
  • As the Scrum Master I was responsible for having the team work optimally. My activities include the following:
    • Manage multiple Scrum teams and guard the timelines and agreements
    • Facilitate the Scrum teams and manage the dependencies between them
    • Keep the overview on the complex technology; help prioritizing and the organization of the backlog
    • Guide the technical design and the implementation of the different processes
    • Coach the team on Scrum and Agile software processes (e.g. continuous deployment)
  • The approach for the system development life cycle was Agile/Scrum and the team was divided into two feature teams. Together with the team I have defined iterations of 3 weeks and release schedule of 3 months. Monitored project activities and advised staff of issues due to resource availability. Internally I had to manage the different departments of CIB, the business, security, infrastructure, communications, operations, the Helpdesk and finally the hand over to support.

  • Due to the merger of ING and Postbank a lot of the existing applications needed migration. Because of these migrations, the current application RIS is less and less reliable. That is why a new internet application needs to be realized, Kijkglas, which enables Sales, the Mid offices, and Back Offices to view the customer information.
  • The used project management methodology is Prince2 and for the development process Agile/Scrum is applied. On the one hand I created the project controls like, Project Mandate, Project Brief, PID, etc? and on the other we followed the Agile approach where we used the sprints for the development of the application.
  • As the Scrum Master I facilitate and coach the team and the product owner with respect to the collaboration, the self-control and team responsibility. I involve engineers in taking decisions and encourage them to do what is needed and expected and stimulate the team to take risks and to be pro-active to help our customers, stakeholders and internal clients. I support the groups processes, sessions and workshops, for that I organize the planning sessions, sprint reviews and the retrospective and facilitate the way of working, quality and behavior of the team members. I take care of the transparency of the results the team commits to and the degree these are met. I escalate obstacles (impediments), which block the results of the team and guard the progress. Next to that I report the weekly progress, impediments, risks and learning points.
