Volunteer Work:
I have spent a substantial amount of time doing volunteer work for nonprofit organizations. In 2013 I spent 5 months doing building and construction work in Australia and in 2017 I spent another 4 months doing building and construction as well as various maintenance tasks at the same place. During those times I have had to lead teams of volunteers accomplishing complex tasks under difficult circumstances with very small budgets and tight time constrictions. This has made me resilient, resourceful and confident in my ability to lead and inspire others.
