The client was well known as supplier for chassis parts in automotive industries in Chinese and US market. This project aims to rise from part supplier to a system supplier for chassis systems. Starting with a green field process all high level working packages were defined with resources, timeline and in/output. The client gets a basic framework for further invest and demands.
Lotus Eng. was in a engineering partnership with Youngman Automotive. Due to some fundamental problems with an entire car project a third party audit was allocated. The process in development, purchasing and plant was rated, immediate actions suggested.
Lotus was highly involved in the Chinese market for Engineering services. To expand the turnover a strategy with new service portfolio was worked out. This project was done as part of Offham Int. with wide expertise in Chinese automotive market.
