During an internal change process it is required to post actions, responsibilities, deadlines etc. in a KPI dashboard to track the progress of improving for each relevant business area. The actions are centrally stored in the SAP system.
More than 120 WebI reports became hard to maintain. In addition, the
WebI report didn?t fulfil the business requirements and mutual elements
couldn?t be centrally changed
The existing BW should been replaced in a green field approach, following LSA. The core of this EDW is the central KPI library and each KPI is systemwide unique. Even the most common report is month-bases, to provide accurate data the smallest common ground has to day. Furthermore the start date and end date of a contract can be at every day in a month. It makes a profit calculation harder and benefits from this detailed daily split.
