SalCus is the core CRM application for Telefonica Deutschland, which serves for Retail, SoHo and SME customers in Post Paid market segment ? RCS/Retail Customer Stack. Product Offerings include Mobile, Fixednet (DSL, Cable, Fiber, FMS),
MyHandy and various third-party products like Insurance, o2 TV etc?
The technical solution is mainly based on Vantive/PeopleSoft CRM, .net, Oracle, SOA, REST, ESP/Kafka technologies.
SalCus is connected to many Front-End order entry channels (Web Portal, Mobile App, Point of Sale, Third Party Interfaces) via Multi Channel Engine interface with SOA architecture.
SalCus is also connected to many backend applications to fulfil the captured order; involving Networks, Billing, Piranha, EIM/Dealer Commission, DPM, SOM, FCM, Logistics, OFI, LAPI, FUEL, ODS, DSS, NUMS, SIMS and many other sub systems via Central Order Management interface and other interfaces using various technologies.
I am involved as an Analyst and Architect. My role is to understand the Business Requirements, effectively translate them into the Application ASRI, Define the E2E interface impact, Handover and support the Dev Teams in every phase of the software lifecycle following Agile delivery process. Involved in supporting E2E Test, BRT, CRT, IRT, solution finding for various E2E Design Defects etc... I am also PIA Analyst from SalCus, which is the phase before SRs enters into Analysis phase.

The Project is to set-up a ?new? Business Customer Stack (BCS) that enables O2 Germany to better serve large business customers. The solution is based on the components PeopleSoft CRM, Arbor Billing and various other shared systems, which are connected each other via middle ware EAI application Vitria.
I played a key role in this project. Learnt new technology rapidly almost independently, trained number of resources, lead a large team for implementing critical business processes. Involved in requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation and in production support. Had gone through full life cycle implementation.
In the role of Developer, implemented most critical business requirements in the areas of Order Management and Service Management like MNP, Change Tariff, and Move Subscription to a different Customer/Account etc...
Successfully implemented Bulk Order functionality, which is not offered in PeopleSoft CRM 8.4. Also implemented various bulk functionalities which are essential for large business customers like Frame Contract, Office Call, VPN, MPLS, Data Pooling etc...
