As a research associate at IUTA e.V. (Germany) and a PhD candidate, I bridged the gap between academic research and industrial application. I specialized in method development for element oriented requests as well as sample preparation for these analyses.
My core expertise was solving analytical requests, where standard protocols were not sufficient. This meant complex matrices, rapidly changing requests and making special samples routine-ready. I was tasked with operating and developing methods for e.g. LC-ICP-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, TXRF, microwave digestive systems and more.
Starting with an apprenticeship in the steel working industries over university work for development of analytical instruments to R&D in environmental analytics for a research institute i now work in self-employment.
