Profile
From 2006 to 2020 I worked in the automotive transmission industry. Until 2013, I studied and worked under Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Tenberge, a renowned expert in powertrain systems, at Chemnitz University of Technology and Ruhr University Bochum. I was deeply involved in several major development projects, including the worldwide first 8-speed automatic transmission for front-cross-application (Shandong Shengrui), a dual-motor full hybrid transmission with power split (Shanghai Huapu, a Geely subsidiary) and an electrically driven 3-speed bus transmission, as well as other transmissionrelated developments. My tasks included design, simulation, optimization and intercultural project management.
Starting in 2014, I led the German subsidiary of Tianjin Tanhas Group (later acquired by Changzhou NRB, a bearing manufacturer), where I managed the European sales of transmission components and bearings, project development and management, as well as quality management according to VDA 6.3 standards. I have a strong professional network in the transmission and automotive industries in both Germany and China.
From January 2022 to June 2024, I worked as Sales Manager for the Business Unit Food Solutions and Slicing & Packaging of GEA Group, leveraging my intercultural project management experience to support post-COVID business growth in the Asia-Pacific region. I frequently travelled to Asia and supported local market and sales development
Since the end of June 2025, I have been working as a freelance engineer, offering services in international project management, technical consulting, development and simulation, quality management and training.
