• Responsible for the overall project management for the implementation of the legal tax requirement Abzugssteuerentlastungsmodernisierungsgesetz /  AbzStEntModG (Project size: approx. 10 million Euro in 2024 to 2025)
• The project is responsible for the development of a comprehensive and new regulatory reporting system to the German Federal Tax Office (BZSt) and requires the sourcing of new securities master data, customer master data, transaction data and their processing and enrichment via various applications of the bank
• Since 2025, the project scope has been significantly expanded to include requirements from the European Commission?s FASTER Directive regarding reporting obligations
• Successfully set up the project governance and regular reporting of the project status to management and steering committee
• Responsible for annual budget and resource planning
• Created a robust and detailed waterfall project plan and put it into use for steering the project
• Took on the role of business analyst for several requirements in the event of resource bottlenecks and created several functional concepts

• Secured compliance with tax withholding and reporting requirements in the highly complex environment of a bank migration
• Negotiated on tax issues with external stakeholders and providers as well as the tax office and the Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt)

• Project size: approx. 20 million Euro in three years
• Analysed the new investment tax law and derivation of the requirements for the bank
• Concepted several project requirements documents for the fund outbound side as well as the inbound side (global custody and proprietary trading)
• Reviewed and approved all technical concepts in the overall project
• Represented the bank on the subject of investment tax in meetings of banking associations and in meetings with customers (foreign banks)
