  • To launch the world's first licensed Exchange and CSD on DLT. 
  • I reset expectations on scope, budget, backlog and timeline, I implemented improved delivery team (5) and stakeholder communication and re-set priorities with a laser focus on removing waste and improving quality. I implemented a more transparent and innovative predictive reporting process for Sprint tracking and overall delivery. Stakeholders included: Legal, Compliance, Operations, Engineering, SRE, QA, Operational Risk, ExCo and FINMA the Swiss regulator plus a number of external vendors. 
  • Working with the stakeholders, engineering and QA. I was responsible for full End to End delivery. I split the project into 3 phases : Licence Ready, Launch Ready, Volume Ready, each having their own functional and non-functional requirements and risk plans. 
  • I agreed and implemented an iterative ?drop? process with FINMA that allowed SDX to incrementally deliver and evidence project progress. Working directly with the engineering teams and the QA teams we evidenced progress through test plans and results that were audited by the regulator and followed up by Q&A sessions.
  • The project was tracked under Prince II methodology but delivered in an Agile, iterative approach and was successfully delivered on the revised scope, budget and timeline.
  • Additionally, I established and managed a new function of Enterprise Agility with the enterprise-wide mandate to reduce time to market, improve innovation, and foster a culture of trust and continuous improvement.

  • Programme and Project Management of the IT Roadmap - Delivered an aggressive programme roadmap with multiple parallel project streams. 
  • Presided over a significant reduction in headcount whilst improving quality and productivity. Introduced Test Automation and Continuous Integration, significantly reduced major (regulatory reportable) incidents by implementing process monitoring and creating robust quality control procedures. 
  • Identified the possibility and exited the outsourced data centre provider without disruption or incident, realising significant cost savings and dramatically improving service quality. 
  • Reporting into the CEO of CDSClear, member of the Leadership Team, seat on various Steering Committees and Programme Boards. 
  • Launched the first and only Foreign Exchange clearing service. Enhancing the service in-line with regulations and business drivers in a rapidly changing environment.  

  • Introduced Agile (Scrum) into ForexClear, delivered a significant project roadmap and service innovation.

  • Reporting into the CEO of ForexClear, member of the Leadership Team, seat on various Steering Committees and Programme Boards.
