Concept, Migration, and Developer Coordination for CRM Microservices in the Azure Cloud
The service landscape covers business-critical processes related to customer management, customer retention, and marketing, and serves as the Single Point of Truth for customer data. Due to its high business relevance, special attention was paid to reliability, security, and scalability.
Project scope and implementation:
? Development and implementation of a modern cloud architecture concept based on best
practices for Azure
? Integration into the existing system landscape using event-based architectural patterns
? Close collaboration with the Product Owner and Quality Assurance to define quality
requirements and formulate User Stories
? Migration of over 30 million customer records and transition from the on-premise solution to
the new cloud-native solution during live operation
? Ensuring the performance, maintainability, and reliability of the solution
Training and coordination of developer teams:
? Training the existing development team in cloud technologies, especially Azure Services,
Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservices Patterns
? Coaching and technical leadership to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer
? Building and scaling the development team to ensure long-term and effective project
development
? Introduction and optimization of coding guidelines, architectural principles, and quality
assurance measures
Through close collaboration with the developers, not only was the migration successfully completed, but it was also ensured that the internal team is capable of independently continuing the long-term development of the solution.
Modernization, design, planning and development of a Dotnet 6-based microservice landscape in the scoring context of insurance policies.
The platform supports the underwriters in risk assessment and versioning of the rules and
regulations. The platform is also used by other user groups: Insurance brokers, doctors and
policyholders.
As part of the collaboration with the product owner and the Quality Assurance department, the services from the ?Rules? subdomain were redesigned and then migrated to .NET.
This solved the performance problems and standardized the entire code base, resulting in lower maintenance and integration costs.
Conception, planning and development of a Dotnet 6 based microservice landscape with associated
Angular frontend. The application maps a customized web shop with connection to various third-party services.
The newly developed platform is used by more than 3,000 users worldwide. The software automates the entire goods ordering process. This saves over 300 hours of manual work per year
