Martin Boehnel is a passionate Learning Designer, entrepreneur and educator. Martin grew up in Germany where he founded his Design Studio in 1994. In 2002 he moved to New Zealand to study and practice Industrial Design. Since that time Martin has worked in various design disciplines, creating E-Learning courses, graphics, products, data visualizations, interiors, & worked for film productions like the movie ?Avatar. In 2009 Martin trained staff and supervised the manufacturing of various products in Shenzhen, China. Martin has taught at multiple tertiary institutions. His most recent projects are developing creative e-learning courses, interior - & media design of a dental surgery clinic, human factors studies, Design thinking workshops, medical device designs and founding a start-up on wireless charging technology.
