The aim is to enable editors to collaborate directly with other editors and users in the company. To automate and optimise workflows in the video production environment.
This resulted in the following core requirements for the system:
- Hard disk storage expansion
- User authorisation
- Simplification of the user interface
- failure tollerance in case of Hard/Software defects
Mobile Video Editor with two Faces,
- a Mobile App with complete Editing functionality
- a Web App with the same Editing functionality as the App
With the integrated Mobile Camera, Raw Shots can be made. These Raw Shots can be edited in the App or they can be uploaded into the Cloud for the Wed Editor. Both sides can be synced to the other at any time.
The system is heavily designed for synchronization between the Web <-> Cloud <-> Mobile App.
Also the mobile app is designed to be used offline and will sync all data when the device becomes online.

Creating a distributed Video Encoding Processor which encodes videos over a cluster of physical machines.

Implementation of offline functionality and background upload of images into existing mobile ionic application.
Previously, the app had to be permanently online.
After successful implementation using agile methods, it was possible to use the app outside of a connection.
Development of a Digital Asset Management for a TV-Studio in Germany with a multi Storage Capacity of >320TB.
The System is used internaly for the Editing Places to provide a Shared Storage System for the Raw Material and the resulting Master Movie.
The system consist of multiple machies to provide a failure tollerance in case of Hard/Software defects.
