Software Architect

The project focus on the complete development of an embedded demonstrator for the condition monitoring of high precision gears.

The project aims for a small footprint embedded hardware solution applied to existing gears for mechatronics applications. Through the continuous sampling and processing of a multimodal set of sensors, such as vibration, temperature and motion, the customer is able to monitor the condition and expected service life of the high precision gears.

 

Contributions:

-        Requirement definition for the system and the software, with the customer.

-        Design of the system, with the customer.

-        Architect the software for the embedded target.

-        Plan and manage the software development and system testing.

Developed for the customer, together with a company specializing in the fronted and UI/UX, we architected and implemented the backend system.

We designed a scalable cloud backend and implemented RESTful interfaces, along with backend microservices to support a robust online marketplace.

Employed Java and the Spring framework to create a resilient and efficient backend architecture, leveraging PostgreSQL for data storage.

 

Contribution:

-         Designed cloud backend architecture for a marketplace website using AWS services.

-         Developed backend microservices and defined RESTful APIs.

-         Utilized Java and Spring framework to build efficient, maintainable backend services.

-         Worked closely with frontend partner to ensure consistent integration and functionality.

-         Collaborated with stakeholders for requirement engineering, aligning technical development with business goals.

-         Provided onboarding and ongoing support to junior team members, fostering a productive and knowledgeable team environment.
