• Recruitment and coordination of GPON engineers at Bucharest HQ
• Plan, implement and deploy GPON technology on a nation-wide scale in RDS network
• Write documentation and procedures pertaining to GPON technology for all company departments
• Further develop the in-house management/provisioning/monitoring solution and seamlessly integrate it with the main netwok management systems
• Further integrate the GPON network into the main nation-wide heterogenous network (interoperability tests at all OSI layers, troubleshooting, bug fixing etc.)
• Provide GPON vendors with detailed equipment (mal)functioning data, logs and debugging information in order to improve the overall GPON solution.
• Develop and deploy a cluster of decentralized redundant servers together with custom written software to easily manage/provision/monitor the GPON network at nation-wide level (Ruby, Python, PHP, MySQL, Apache/Nginx, Bash, sed, awk, Linux, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, Anycast, DNS, Cisco, HP, Supermicro etc.)
• Administration and security auditing of Linux servers deployed as part of the nation-wide GPON infrastructure

•  Assure 3rd Level IP support for customers
• Manage and troubleshoot a large heterogenous network (Cisco, Juniper, ZTE, Huawei etc.) of switches, routers and Linux servers at all OSI layers
• Manage and troubleshoot a wide range of services (DNS, DHCP, IP address registration and management, video streaming, BGP, VPN, proxies)
• Hands-on datacenter support for both customers' and internal servers (deployments, component upgrades, hardware and connectivity troubleshooting)
• 24/7 service monitoring and incident response in multiple shifts for both customer and internal equipment
