    • B@fir-SEPA is one of the top critical applications within Deutsche Bank. The majority (90+x%) of payments within Deutsche Bank are processed through the engine. The application is running on an AIX machine, due to support issues & AIX being not strategic platform to Deutsche Bank, Tech Refresh was planned.
  • Treasury:
    • Treasury manages the capital, funding, and liquidity risk of Deutsche Bank. To manage the growing complexity and importance of the management of liquidity and Capital within the Bank (and the corresponding need to report, in particular, our liquidity position to multiple Regulators) Treasury initiated a transformational change initiative, TIGAr (Treasury Integrated Global Architecture) that brings significant economic and operational benefits to the Treasury function and more widely for the Bank.
  • PhotoTAN: Database migration
    • One-Time Password Service will offer a middle-tier platform that is capable of performing Vasco Token authentications, thus allow DB applications to reduce the overall cost and effort of building support for Vasco tokens, within their application. The OTPS service is currently targeted at user volumes up to 5M.
  • StRIDe- Strategic Reporting & Information Delivery
    • It’s a global cross-bank initiative to significantly reduce the risk associated with Risk & Financial reporting process. It provides an end-to-end process and system transformation that enables the provision of accurate, transparent and timely information to shareholders, regulators & mgmt.     • eSpear is an equity settlement system and contains a few key Oracle databases actors for supporting the trade lifecycle, supporting the book keeping and ledgers, along with the series of side character databases. Due to some well-known issues in the past, eSpear has undergone a big stability program and capacity push. Continued refinements of the environment ensure greater cost efficiency, standardized support and greater stability of the DB Global Storage environment

Also it involved the validation of reconciliations of trade, cash flows and collateral movements.
  • Swift2013
    • SWIFT has released a new set of standards that all SWIFT services subscribing parties need to adhere to. All payments, Fixing advises and confirmations, which use Murex as a TP, generating templates prescribed by the SWIFT organization via both automated and manual processes, which are well defined, are in place and need to satisfy the SWIFT 2013 standards
  • NSE Integration
    • The objective of the project is to create a process, connecting the NSE directly to Murex (MXG), allowing traders to execute trades with the NSE and have these trades automatically populated in Murex without trader having to re-enter or double book deals House Clearing Automation – HKEX SCB recognises the need to improve on the current manual processes around CCP clearing in order to cope with the increasing pressure from regulators to move to central clearing.     • Sophis System V 5.3.19 was used for booking Equity & Equity Derivatives Deals within SCB including Trade Input/Validation, Pricing, Risks, Payments & Confirmations as well as accounting entries generation. 11 issues/problems/imbalances were identified by the business on the accounting postings generated by Sophis which limited the bank’s ability to report the P&L and Exposures to its in-country regulators and management

    • The main objective of the Brazil Integration Project was to integrate the global trading systems like MUREX, FEDS and BTS with local systems in Brazil to process the transactions. New trades, amendments and cancellations of the buy and sell trades were being processed as part of this project
