In my current position at Check24, I lead a cross?functional team working on our credit card comparison, focusing on robust enterprise Java solutions built with Spring and modern software engineering practices.

My early work was focused in developing customer?facing backend systems, and I later transitioned into managing real?time integrations with external partners?from partner banks to document delivery services and video identification providers. Recently, I spearheaded the introduction of machine learning into our systems. I researched and ran a proof of concept for predicting credit card acceptance probabilities, then led a team in developing and deploying initial MVP. This project resulted in a 10% reduction in customer rejection rates and paved the way for the formation of a dedicated data science team, which has become a major focus for our development efforts.
