Tasks:

• From Autumn 2017 I started working as an Agile Coach and Scrum Master at Swisscom in the newly setup 5G ART.
• I was responsible to support the Management, the RTE as well as the Scrum Masters during the transformation process while holding the Scrum Master role for the Mobile Core team.
• Soon after I became an Agile Coach on the Large Solution level and became part of the SAFe and DevOps transformation on a higher level.
• I started coaching the STE as well as the RTEs of the other ARTs.
• Soon I found myself mentoring more and more Scrum Masters as well.
• I also got requests also from outside the Large Solution and began mentoring Scrum Masters, their Product Owners and also several RTEs.
• Besides I held several wokshops for Scrum Masters within Large Solutions.
• Also I held several team kickoff workshops as part of my Scrum Master mentoring

2 years: Developping a backend API for several banking frontends

Role: full time Agile Coach, Scrum Master

Customer: Swisscom Banking 

Tasks:

• In early 2015 I started my work at Swisscom as a Scrum Master for a software engineering team which was developping a backend API for several banking frontends.
• They asked me to help them switch from a just-do-it method to an Agile process.
• Together with the team we decided to implement and evaluate Scrum.
• After some months the team worked with Scrum and most developers who were sceptical at the beginning were confident of working with Scrum.
• After presenting the Spotify feature team approach to my boss, we had the opportunity to implement a trial feature team.
• It was very successful, the engineers from different components started to talk to each other and reduced a lot of overhead caused by misimplementations.
• I took over the iOS team as a Scrum Master after their team lead quit. They were managed by their team lead, historically, and I took over to help them start using an Agile method.
• Together we decided to use Kanban, as they did not work on features anymore and did support / bug fixing.
• Also I coached the Scrum Master of the web frontend team, which was a team of inhouse and offshore developers.

1 year: Git initiation and training 

Role: part time Consultant, Developer (Dev and Ops)

Tasks:

• As a consultant I had the opportunity to support SBB?s internal IT in their scheme of switching their whole software engineering department from svn to git. The vision was to automate most processes - automated CI and CD was the goal.
• Together with their operations team I developed a proposal on how to switch their development teams step by step from svn to git. In order to meet their developers needs, we setup automation tools (Stash, Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube) and developed several integration plugins.
• During full day workshops we moved the teams from svn to git. I developed the full day workshops and held about 15 myself.
• We extensively documented the new workflow to support the software engineers in their daily work.

1 year: Hack?n?app

Role: part time Program Developer, Course Expert

Tasks:

• The hack?n?app project week aims to show children and young people how exciting and diverse IT can be.
• In a project week of four days young kids learn to develop, design and program their own app.
• I had the opportunity to develop (rewrite) the whole course program from scratch.
• I held six courses across Switzerland (5 German, 1 French) as the course lead.

Role: full time Scrum Master, Architect, Software Engineer 

Tasks:

• From November 2012 I had the opportunity to work in a team as a Scrum Master for about three months.
• I ramped up the team and introduced the customer into Scrum.
• We wanted to allow a knowhow transfer from the Migipedia team to one more team.
• My responsibilities included the organisation and planning of the Sprints, the ressource planning, facilitating the Scrum meetings, taking architectural decisions and some software engineering - mainly supporting the team in form of pair programming.

Tasks:

• Between 2009 and 2013 I was working in a Scrum team on the project Migipedia (for Migros, Switzerland?s largest retail company).
• Until September 2012 as a software engineer. After taking the Scrum Master role as a deputy several times during 2012, I got the role from October 2012.
• As a Scrum Master in this team I learned how a functioning Scrum team works, what challenges a Scrum Master faces even with a functioning team and also learned how the Scrum Master role changes when transforming to Kanban.

1 year: search for civil services (URL on request)

Role: part time Architect, Software Engineer

Tasks:

• End of 2011 I had the idea to simplify the search for civil services on the platform of the federal agency. I came up with the idea, because I had to search civil services on the platform myself and it did not satisfy me.
• Therefore I decided to crawl the data hosted by the federal agency and to present them in a simplified way.
• The legal aspects I could cover within a university project in the module IT law.
• The website was online from July 2012 until 2016. I decided to take it down because the federal agency took steps to block my data crawling.
• The website had an average of 200 visitors every day.
