• Fault correction on the S5 control system for the pallet gondola
• Solution design for re-integrating two vertical conveyors

• Two vertical conveyors brought back into operation; operational risk significantly reduced (3 of 3 active)
• Transaction time reduced from 4 minutes to 1 minute per pallet
• Annualised savings: CHF 75,000 - Logistics concept presented and accepted by C-level management

Mandate:

Stabilisation of a SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation (brownfield) under live operations at a German automotive engine manufacturer. Solution-side analysis of configuration and process defects, material flow redesign, and steering of the IT team for technical realisation of corrections. 

Key responsibilities:

• Analysis and documentation of critical incidents in the S/4HANA EWM environment
• Work package authoring in coordination with EWM system architects and dispatch to SAP developers
• Material flow redesign for end-of-line acceptance and dispatch in the diesel engine division
• Documentation of revised warehouse processes and corresponding S/4HANA EWM technical changes
• Subject Matter Expert for intralogistics and material flow
• Direct leadership of 5 direct reports across IT and operations

Set-up of the global PMO and steering of the SAP S/4HANA EWM greenfield template roll-out for a strategic key account across 17 countries and 34 sites (Finished Goods, Repair, Reverse Logistics). Programme volume approximately ?40m. Accountable for solution template, master data stream, and overall programme delivery. 

Key responsibilities:

• Programme office set-up and global governance structure for multi-country roll-out
• Global SAP template (80% standard, 20% local functionality)
• Master data cleansing and enrichment stream aligned to GS1 / GDSN standards
• SIT and UAT test management; user training concept for 5,500 users
• Stakeholder management at corporate and key-account level; steering of country PMs and IT PMs
• Risk and budget control across multiple parallel work-streams

Operational and system-side recovery of a healthcare distribution centre (200+ staff, ?11.2bn parent revenue) after a failed SAP EWM go-live combined with a warehouse relocation and the ramp-up of a highly automated facility. Restoration of delivery capability, SAP EWM stability, and contractual standing within 90 days.
