Phasing out the old DWH 1.0 by transition to a solution using Wherescape and Tibco DV with a DataVault 2.0 environment

• My tasks within this project have been very diverse:
  • the automation of the environment, such as generating Supernova views in TDV, generating delta-loading ETL code in Wherescape 3D and RED, and the complete setup and automation of all process control flows of the DWH
  • Additionally, I had a sparring/coaching role with permanent employees and provided support to the lead architect

• In continuation of the previous assignment, a conversion will be carried out from the platform with dashboards realized so far to a virtualized environment based on Tibco Data Virtualization
• For the organization, the existing solution is too complex and labour-intensive
  • In the project, I took the lead in managing and co-executing the conversion process

Realization of an Operational Information Platform

• Havensteder is a housing association that wants to set up an operational information platform in accordance with sector standards
• The CORA and VERA models and definitions play an essential role in this
• Access for dashboards and analysis must be possible using SAS or MS Power BI
  • I guided the organization to become more and more data-driven while also being the lead developer in the realization of the platform according to requirements and wishes

• I have been responsible as an architect and lead developer for the realization of the entire solution
• Besides the technical aspects, many organizational changes had to be implemented
• New roles and responsibilities were introduced
• I trained the people and ensured they gained experience
• As an architect, I was responsible for defining data deliveries, metadata, governance, and quality control

In a pilot project, he is exploring the potential value of collected transactional data from various regions around the world. Data is delivered in flat files and made available on an analysis platform for various analysis and reporting tools. The pilot is set up for evaluation and knowledge building among analysts

• I was responsible for coordinating data delivery, realizing the entire analysis platform, and supporting and coaching business analysts in their first steps in data analysis and tooling

The cooperative wants to develop a Mobile App to help hospitality entrepreneurs with their business operations. A personal assistant that can support the entrepreneur daily with advice and assistance. To give the App a form of intelligence, a ?House of Quality? was created, analogous to Lean Six Sigma. However, they saw no possibility to turn this theoretical model into a workable implementation

• I became involved in the project following a quick audit I conducted
• The objectives of the audit were to find out why the project had come to a standstill, why the form of project management was not functioning, and how to proceed with the idea of the ?House of Quality?
• The audit report provided answers to all these challenges
• As a result, I was asked to further develop these solutions by working on the project
